This Payment and Refund Policy governs all transactions made on the Whalesbook platform, including the website and mobile app. By purchasing a subscription, report, or access to premium alerts, you agree to these terms.
Whalesbook provides digital information services, including news, alerts, and analytics. Unlike physical goods, these services are consumed immediately upon delivery. Therefore, our refund policy reflects the nature of digital goods.
2.Pricing And Payments
- Currency: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Taxes: Prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes such as GST. Taxes will be calculated and added at checkout where applicable.
- Payment Methods: We use secure third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay, Stripe, Apple Pay, and Google Play Billing. Whalesbook does not store your full card details or banking passwords.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of the billing cycle unless cancelled by you before the renewal date.
3.Refund Policy
All sales are final. Because Whalesbook provides immediate access to proprietary data, real-time alerts, and digital content, we do not offer refunds once a purchase is made.
Refunds Are Not Provided For
- Change of mind: You decided you no longer need the service.
- Partial usage: You did not use the service during the subscription period.
- Market performance: You did not make a profit based on the news or alerts provided. We provide information, not financial guarantees.
- Accidental renewal: You forgot to cancel before the renewal date.
Exceptions
A refund may be considered at the sole discretion of Whalesbook only in limited cases.
- There was a technical error where you were charged twice for the same billing period.
- The service was completely inaccessible for a prolonged period of 72 or more hours due to a fault on our end.
4.Cancellation Policy
You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time.
How To Cancel
- App Store or Play Store: Manage subscriptions in your phone settings.
- Web: Go to My Account, then Billing, then Cancel Subscription.
- Email: Send a request to info@whalesbook.com at least 48 hours before your renewal date.
Effect Of Cancellation
- Your access to premium features will continue until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
- After the cycle ends, your account will revert to the free tier, and you will not be charged again.
- Cancellation does not trigger a refund for the remaining days of the current month or year.
5.Chargebacks And Disputes
If you believe an error has occurred with your billing, you agree to contact info@whalesbook.com first to resolve the issue.
Initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider without contacting us first is a violation of these terms.
Users who initiate fraudulent chargebacks may have their accounts permanently banned and may be reported to credit bureaus or legal authorities for fraud.
6.Service Delivery And Upgrades
- Instant Access: Upon successful payment, access to premium features such as alerts and e-newspapers is granted immediately.
- Upgrades: If you upgrade from a monthly to a yearly plan, the new rate will apply immediately, and any remaining time on the old plan may be adjusted on a pro-rata basis depending on payment gateway rules.
