PAYMENT, CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

1. GENERAL TERMS

This Payment and Refund Policy ("Policy") governs all transactions made on the Whalesbook Platform (Website and Mobile App). By purchasing a subscription, report, or access to premium alerts, you agree to these terms.

Whalesbook provides Digital Information Services (News, Alerts, Analytics). Unlike physical goods, these services are consumed immediately upon delivery. Therefore, our refund policy reflects the nature of digital goods.

2. PRICING & PAYMENTS

  • Currency: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Taxes: Prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes (such as GST). Taxes will be calculated and added at checkout where applicable.
  • Payment Methods: We use secure third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Play Billing). Whalesbook does not store your full card details or banking passwords.
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscription plans (Monthly/Yearly) renew automatically at the end of the billing cycle unless cancelled by you prior to the renewal date.

3. REFUND POLICY (NO REFUNDS)

All sales are final.

Because Whalesbook provides immediate access to proprietary data, real-time alerts, and digital content, we do not offer refunds once a purchase is made.

We do NOT provide refunds for:

  • Change of Mind: You decided you no longer need the service.
  • Partial Usage: You did not use the service during the subscription period.
  • Market Performance: You did not make a profit based on the news or alerts provided (We provide information, not financial guarantees).
  • Accidental Renewal: You forgot to cancel before the renewal date.

Exceptions:

A refund may be considered at the sole discretion of Whalesbook only if:

  • There was a technical error where you were charged twice for the same billing period (Duplicate Transaction).
  • The service was completely inaccessible for a prolonged period (72+ hours) due to a fault on our end.

4. CANCELLATION POLICY

You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time.

How to Cancel:

  • App Store / Play Store: Manage subscriptions in your phone settings.
  • Web: Go to "My Account" > "Billing" > "Cancel Subscription."
  • Email: Send a request to info@whalesbook.com at least 48 hours before your renewal date.

Effect of Cancellation:

  • Your access to Premium features will continue until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
  • After the cycle ends, your account will revert to the Free tier, and you will not be charged again.
  • Cancellation does not trigger a refund for the remaining days of the current month/year.

5. CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTES

If you believe an error has occurred with your billing, you agree to contact info@whalesbook.com first to resolve the issue.

Unauthorized Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider without contacting us first is a violation of these terms.

Consequence: Users who initiate fraudulent chargebacks will have their accounts permanently banned and may be reported to credit bureaus or legal authorities for fraud.

6. SERVICE DELIVERY & UPGRADES

  • Instant Access: Upon successful payment, access to Premium features (Alerts, E-Newspaper) is granted immediately.
  • Upgrades: If you upgrade from a Monthly to a Yearly plan, the new rate will apply immediately, and any remaining time on the old plan may be adjusted on a pro-rata basis (depending on the payment gateway rules).
