ఇంటర్‌గ్లోబ్ ఏవియేషన్ (IndiGo) తాజాగా ఒక గూడ్స్ అండ్ సర్వీసెస్ ట్యాక్స్ (GST) నోటీసును వ్యతిరేకిస్తోంది. CGST గురుగ్రామ్ అదనపు కమిషనర్ కార్యాలయం నుండి వచ్చిన ఈ నోటీసు ప్రకారం, IndiGo ₹42.92 కోట్లు GST, వడ్డీ, జరిమానాలు చెల్లించాల్సి ఉంది.

కానీ, IndiGo ఈ డిమాండ్‌ను పూర్తిగా తప్పు అని కొట్టిపారేస్తోంది. తాము ఎప్పుడూ ఉపయోగించని, చెల్లించని సేవలకై ఈ GST నోటీసు ఇవ్వడం జరిగిందని కంపెనీ తెలిపింది. ఈ నోటీసు 2019-20 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరం (FY) నుండి 2024-25 వరకు ఉన్న కాలానికి సంబంధించినది.

ఈ పరిణామం వల్ల తమ ఆర్థిక వ్యవహారాలపై గానీ, రోజువారీ కార్యకలాపాలపై గానీ ఎటువంటి పెద్ద ప్రభావం ఉండదని IndiGo విశ్వాసం వ్యక్తం చేసింది. ఈ GST డిమాండ్‌ను చట్టపరంగా ఎదుర్కోవడానికి కంపెనీ సిద్ధమవుతోంది.

పెద్ద కంపెనీలకు ఇలాంటి పన్ను వివాదాలు కొత్తేమీ కానప్పటికీ, IndiGo ఈ విషయంలో తమ పెట్టుబడిదారులకు భరోసా ఇచ్చేలా స్పష్టతనిచ్చింది.
