Oswal Energies Limited has signed a crucial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Arab Tanker Services (ATS) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This collaboration is poised to unlock approximately $1 billion in expansion plans across the Middle East's energy sector.
Strategic Alliance Formed
The partnership aims to forge an integrated alliance capable of delivering end-to-end EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and DBO (Design, Build, and Operate) solutions. This strategic move will enable both companies to offer advanced energy infrastructure services not only within the UAE but also in other globally significant energy markets.
Scope of Services
Under the agreement, the alliance will focus on a broad spectrum of projects, including onshore, offshore, and subsea developments. Key areas of expertise will encompass Early Production Facilities (EPFs), rigid thermoplastic pipe (RTP) and subsea pipeline systems, offshore cable and pipeline laying, and modular process skids for the energy and industrial sectors.
Infrastructure Backbone
Operations will be bolstered by ATS's robust infrastructure in Abu Dhabi, featuring a fleet of 24 offshore barges and vessels for marine construction and support. The alliance will also utilize a dedicated fabrication yard for modular skids and heavy assemblies, supported by significant investments in jetty and marine infrastructure.
Vision for the Future
Ratan Bokadia, Managing Director of Oswal Energies Limited, stated that the partnership significantly enhances their capability to deliver EPFs, offshore pipelines, and modular systems. The collaboration is designed to support the UAE's Net Zero 2050 policy and contribute to global sustainable energy system transitions, particularly through clean hydrogen initiatives.
