ਆਰਥਿਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਕੈਸ਼ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਸਫਰ (UCT) ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਝਾਨ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। PRS ਲੈਜਿਸਲੇਟਿਵ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਅਜਿਹੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 2022-23 ਦੇ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦੋ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ 2025-26 ਤੱਕ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਆਮ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ, ਯੋਗ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਮਦਨ, ਉਮਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਾਰਕਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਮਾਪਦੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ, ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟ ਬੈਨੀਫਿਟ ਟਰਾਂਸਫਰ (DBT) ਵਿਧੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਾਸਿਕ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। 2025-26 ਦੇ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਾਲ ਲਈ, ਇਹ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰਾਜ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਔਰਤ-ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰਿਤ UCT ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਸਮੂਹਿਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਲਗਭਗ 1.68 ਲੱਖ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਜੋ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਾਸ ਡੋਮੈਸਟਿਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਡਕਟ (GDP) ਦਾ ਲਗਭਗ 0.5% ਹੈ। ਅਸਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਵਰਗੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਸੋਧੇ ਹੋਏ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਜਟ ਅਲਾਟਮੈਂਟ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰਮਵਾਰ 31% ਅਤੇ 15% ਵਧਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
