ED ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਬਤੀਆਂ RCOM ਅਤੇ ਅਨਿਲ ਅੰਬਾਨੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸੈਂਟਰਲ ਬਿਊਰੋ ਆਫ਼ ਇਨਵੈਸਟੀਗੇਸ਼ਨ (CBI) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਾਇਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਫਸਟ ਇਨਫਾਰਮੇਸ਼ਨ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ (FIR) 'ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਤ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਜਾਂਚ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹਨ। ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ 2010 ਅਤੇ 2012 ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ 40,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦਾ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਫੰਡ 'ਲੋਨ ਐਵਰਗਰੀਨਿੰਗ', ਸਬੰਧਤ-ਪਾਰਟੀ ਲੈਣ-ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਅਣਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਰੇਮਿਟੈਂਸ ਲਈ ਡਾਇਵਰਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਜ਼ਬਤੀ ਨਾਲ, ਅਨਿਲ ਅੰਬਾਨੀ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਜਾਂ ਅਸਥਾਈ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦਾ ਕੁੱਲ ਮੁੱਲ ਹੁਣ 7,500 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
