एनटीपी (NTPC) लिमिटेड आणि महाराष्ट्र राज्य विद्युत निर्मिती कंपनी लिमिटेड (महाजेनको) यांनी महत्त्वपूर्ण शेअरधारक कराराला अंतिम स्वरूप दिले आहे. हा करार सिनार थर्मल पॉवर लिमिटेड (STPL) च्या अधिग्रहणासंबधी आहे, जो भारताच्या ऊर्जा क्षेत्रासाठी एक महत्त्वपूर्ण विस्तार आहे.

या करारामध्ये महाराष्ट्रातील नाशिक जिल्ह्यातील 1,350 MW क्षमतेचा कोळसा-आधारित सिनार थर्मल पॉवर प्लांट समाविष्ट आहे. राष्ट्रीय कंपनी कायदा न्यायाधिकरण (NCLT) दिल्लीने 28 नोव्हेंबर 2025 रोजी कन्सोर्टियमच्या ठरावाला मान्यता दिली. एकूण अधिग्रहणाची किंमत ₹3,800.14 कोटी आहे, जी रोख स्वरूपात भरायची आहे. हा व्यवहार 26 फेब्रुवारी 2026 पर्यंत पूर्ण होण्याची अपेक्षा आहे.

एनटीपीसी ग्रुपची वाढती व्याप्ती

व्यवहार पूर्ण झाल्यावर, एनटीपीसी आणि महाजेनको दोघेही STPL मध्ये 50% हिस्सेदारी ठेवतील. या एकीकरणामुळे एनटीपीसी ग्रुपची एकूण स्थापित क्षमता 86,987 MW पर्यंत वाढेल. तिची व्यावसायिक क्षमता 85,907 MW पर्यंत पोहोचेल. 9 जानेवारी रोजी एनटीपीसीचे शेअर्स 2% पेक्षा जास्त घसरून ₹336 वर बंद झाले, तेव्हा ही बातमी आली.
