Kya hua WTO mein? Türkiye ne badla stance, India akela!

Dekho, World Trade Organization (WTO) ki 14th Ministerial Conference (MC14) mein ek bada scene ho gaya hai. Türkiye, jo pehle Investment Facilitation for Development (IFD) pact ke khilaaf tha, usne apna objection wapas le liya hai. Isse India kaafi akela pad gaya hai.

Ab India hi woh desh hai jo is pact ko WTO mein integrate karne ke liye mana nahi kar raha. South Africa ne bhi pehle hi piche hatne ka ishara de diya tha. Iska matlab hai ki India par ab aur zyada pressure hai apni baat rakhne ka.

India ki kya tension hai?

India ko lagta hai ki ye IFD pact, jo 128 members ka support rakhta hai, WTO ke consensus-based decision making ko kamzor kar dega. New Delhi ka kehna hai ki ye pact Joint Statement Initiatives (JSIs) se nikla hai, aur iska WTO mein koi pura mandate nahi hai. India ko darr hai ki kahin yeh pact food security jaise zaruri development goals se dhyan na bhatka de.

Global Market ka scene?

Duniya bhar mein Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) flows 14% badh kar $1.6 trillion tak pahunch gaye hain 2025 mein, mostly developed countries mein. Lekin developing economies mein FDI 2% gir gaya hai, shayad geopolitical tensions ke chalte. India ko isi wajah se chinta hai ki aise naye pacts developing countries ki investment attract karne ki capacity ko limit kar sakte hain.

Plurilateralism (matlab, jo log chahte hain woh saath milkar trade rules banayein) ab Dohar Round (poore WTO ka consensus) ki jagah leta dikh raha hai. Kuch experts ka kehna hai ki isse WTO do-tiered ho sakta hai.

History repeat ho rahi hai?

India ka ye stand 1996 ke 'Singapore Issues' jaisa hai, jab unhone investment aur competition policy ke khilaaf stand liya tha. India ke liye food security ke liye permanent solution aur agricultural subsidies jaise mudde zyada important hain.

Aage kya hoga?

Agar India akela khada raha, toh future talks mein uska influence kam ho sakta hai. Plurilateral deals bade deshon ko rules banane ka mauka de sakte hain aur chhote deshon ko peeche chhod sakte hain. US ke proposals bhi WTO ke core principles jaise MFN status ko challenge kar rahe hain.

Ye IFD pact WTO mein integrate hoga ya nahi, ye India ke stand par depend karta hai. MC14 mein ye ek bada mudda hai jo WTO ke future ko shape karega.
