Profit mein badi girawat, par Dividend ka promise!

Thomas Cook (India) Ltd. ne FY26 ke fourth quarter ke results announce kiye hain, aur bhai sahab, net profit mein 40.2% ki year-on-year girawat aayi hai. Pichhle saal isi quarter mein ₹66.01 crore ka profit tha, jo ab kam hokar ₹30.68 crore reh gaya hai. Revenue ki baat karein toh yeh bhi 10.1% neeche girkar ₹1,770.69 crore ho gaya, jo pehle ₹1,968.86 crore tha. Company bol rahi hai ki travel ki demand thodi slow thi, isliye operational profit par asar pada hai. EBITDA 20.4% kam hokar ₹78.2 crore ho gaya aur margin bhi 5% se 4.4% ho gaya.

Dividend de rahe hain, par stock ka kya?

Itni profit girne ke baad bhi, board ne FY26 ke liye ₹0.50 per equity share ka dividend propose kiya hai. Shareholder approval ke baad yeh milega. Yeh dikhata hai ki company apne future ko lekar confident hai ya phir investors ko retain karna chahti hai. Market ne is result par zyada react nahi kiya. May 12, 2026 ko stock BSE par bas 0.054% girkar ₹92.99 par band hua. Pichhle ek saal mein stock already 26.77% gir chuka hai, ₹86.35 se ₹188.29 ke beech mein trade kar raha hai.

Sector trends aur Company ka position

Indian travel sector mein kaafi changes aa rahe hain. Log ab domestic travel, safety aur flexible plans ko zyada prefer kar rahe hain. Luxury aur wellness tourism ki bhi demand badh rahi hai. Thomas Cook ka revenue fall dikha raha hai ki shayad woh in naye trends ko capture karne mein thodi struggling kar rahi hai. Lekin company ke paas foreign exchange, holidays aur travel insurance jaise diversified services hain. Unki credit ratings CRISIL AA/Stable/CRISIL A1+ par reaffirm hui hain.

Analyst kya bol rahe hain?

Company ka TTM P/E ratio 18-20 ke aas-paas hai, jo IRCTC (~35.3) aur ITDC (~56.7) se kam hai, par Dreamfolks Services Ltd. (~10.20) se zyada. FY26 Q4 mein revenue growth jo -10.1% thi, woh IRCTC ki 9.48% growth se kaafi peeche hai. Market cap lagbhag ₹4,376 crore hai. Analyst ka view bhi alag-alag hai; kuch 'Sell' bol rahe hain toh kuch 'Strong Buy', aur price targets ₹153 se ₹180 tak jaa rahe hain. Stock ek saal mein 26.77% neeche hai, jo investor caution dikhata hai.

Aage ka outlook

Thomas Cook India ke saamne ek recovering travel market hai. Unhe domestic travel trends, luxury demand aur experiential travel ko leverage karna hoga. Proposed dividend aur full-year profit ₹220.48 crore (FY25 mein ₹258.39 crore tha) thoda support de sakte hain. Lekin revenue decline ko reverse karna aur consistent profit growth lana bahut zaroori hai tak ki optimisti price targets ko meet kiya ja sake.
