Ab yeh Pakistan ka bandh Indian airlines jaise IndiGo aur SpiceJet ke liye tickets mehngi kar raha hai. Europe, North America ya West Asia jaane wale flights ko lambe routes se jaana pad raha hai. Pehle bhi jab yeh bandh hua tha, airlines ko ₹540 Crore ka nuksan hua tha sirf 5 mahine mein, aur Air India ko toh saal ka ₹4,000 Crore tak ka nuksan ho sakta hai. Lambi flights matlab zyada fuel kharch, crew ka zyada time aur booking mein bhi dikkat.
Aur tension toh aur badh gayi hai. West Asia mein jo ladai chal rahi hai, uski wajah se bhi kai jagah flights restrict ho gayi hain. Isse flights mein 2 se 4 ghante extra lag rahe hain. Upar se jet fuel ke prices bhi double se zyada ho gaye hain. Airline ke total kharch ka 35-40% toh sirf fuel hota hai! India mein ek report ke mutabik, sirf West Asia conflict ki wajah se airlines ko ₹18,000 Crore ka loss hua hai. Tourism bhi 15-20% gir gaya hai.
Ab Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) ka case thoda alag hai. Unki international network kam hai, isliye Pakistan ke bandh ka unpar zyada asar nahi padta. PIA ne haal hi mein 20 saal baad pehle half-year mein pre-tax profit report kiya hai. Lekin yeh sab government ne unka 80% purana debt maaf kar diya, tabhi hua hai. Sirf accounting ka adjustment lag raha hai, kyuki unki equity abhi bhi negative hai.
Indian airlines ka outlook mix hai. IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation) jo sabse badi airline hai, uska P/E ratio lagbhag 56 hai aur market cap ₹1.81 Trillion ke aas-paas. Analysts isko 'Strong Buy' bol rahe hain aur target price ₹5,400-₹6,400 de rahe hain. Wahi, SpiceJet losses mein phas gayi hai, uska P/E negative hai aur market cap ₹2,100-₹3,400 Crore ke beech hai. Analysts isko 'Sell' bol rahe hain aur girne ka dar hai. Air India, jo Tata Group ka hissa hai, usko bhi March 2026 tak ₹22,000 Crore se zyada ka loss hua hai.
Toh bhai, yeh Pakistan airspace ban aur West Asia ka tension Indian airlines ke liye ek bada structural problem ban gaya hai. SpiceJet jaise airlines apne negative P/E aur kam margins ke saath bohot pressure mein hain, upar se 'Sell' rating. Air India ke bhi nuksan kam nahi ho rahe aur CEO ne resign bhi kar diya. Jab tak Pakistan airspace open nahi hota aur West Asia mein shanti nahi hoti, Indian airlines ko high costs face karne padenge. Yeh sab investors ke liye bhi ek risk hai.
