Toll ke rates mein tagda jump!

Bhai log, agar aap bhi NH48 se Pune-Bengaluru route par gaadi chalaate hain, toh suno! April 1 se Khed Shivapur toll plaza par gaadiyon ke liye naya rate लागू ho gaya hai. Ab normal cars aur jeeps ke liye one-way toll ₹125 ho gaya hai, pehle yeh ₹115-120 ke aas-paas tha. Yeh toh saalana badhotri hai jo inflation aur maintenance ke hisaab se hoti hai.

Light commercial vehicles (LCVs) ke liye ab ₹200, buses aur trucks ke liye ₹415 aur bade trucks ke liye ₹790 tak dena padega. Mazedaar baat yeh hai ki isi ke babjood, Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai-Pune Expressway par rates abhi bhi stable hain! Wahan cars ke liye ₹320 ka rate 2025-26 tak change nahi hoga, aur shayad 2030 tak bhi.

Business Walon ki lagi lottery? Nahi, tension hai!

Yeh jo NH48 par regular toll hikes hote hain, woh inflation aur road maintenance ke liye zaruri hain. Jaise, 2018-2020 mein cars ka toll ₹90 ke aas-paas tha, phir 2021 mein ₹100 aur ab ₹115-120 se seedha ₹125 ho gaya hai. Transport companies ke liye yeh sab ek bada operational cost hai. Agar freight charges badhenge, toh seedha maara konsa jayega? Apni jeb se! Matlab, final product mehnga hoga aur inflation badhega.

NHAI ne FY25 mein ₹72,000 crore se zyada collection kiya hai, aur FY24-25 mein collection costs bhi 44% kam ki hain. Lekin user ke liye toh kharcha badh hi raha hai. Yeh jo 4-5% ka annual increase hota hai, woh WPI (Wholesale Price Index) se link hota hai, jisse highways develop hote hain, par travel ka kharcha toh badh hi jata hai.

Kya Toll Collection sahi hai?

NHAI kehta hai ki yeh sab road maintenance ke liye hai, par kuch log bolte hain ki users par bojh zyada ho raha hai. Sawal yeh bhi uthte hain ki jab construction ka paisa nikal gaya, toh toll kyun chalu hai? Aur kyun itne saare toll plazas ek doosre ke paas hain? Log kehte hain ki NHAI bas profit par focus kar raha hai.

Transport companies ke liye toh fuel ke baad toll hi sabse bada kharcha hai. Chhote-chhote annual increases milkar saal ke end mein ek badi amount ban jaati hain, jo business aur kharch dono ko slow kar sakti hain.

NHAI soch raha hai badlav ke baare mein

Ab NHAI apni 30 saal purani tolling policies ko review kar raha hai. Future mein traffic, costs aur road conditions ke hisaab se realistic pricing lane ki planning hai. Jaise India mein highways badh rahe hain, waise hi GPS tolling jaisi nayi technologies bhi aa rahi hain collection ko smooth banane ke liye. Haan, inflation se linked annual toll rate increases toh abhi bhi honge, funding ke liye. Yahan tak ki regular users ke liye FASTag annual passes ke rates bhi adjust hue hain. Dekhte hain aage kya hota hai!
