Air India Ne Kaha 'Abhi Nahi Jaana!' (Air India Says 'Not Going Yet!')
Air India, jo Tata Group ka hissa hai, ne ekdum se Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) jaane wale plan par 'break' laga diya hai. Airline ne Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA) ko likha hai ki unhe NMIA ke projections par bharosa nahi hai, aur wahan jaane ka kharcha abhi bahut zyada hai. Unka kehna hai ki jab tak NMIA poori tarah operational nahi ho jata, tab tak wahan shift karne se sirf nuksan hoga aur kaam-kaaj mein bhi dikkat aayegi. Aviation market waise hi tight chal raha hai, toh aise mein koi bhi extra kharcha karna smart nahi hoga, specially jab company khud turnaround par hai.
Charges Aur Facilities Ka Raabta Nahi!
Asal mein, Air India ko NMIA ke fees bilkul pasand nahi aa rahe. Airport par landing charges domestic flights ke liye 84% tak aur international flights ke liye 113% tak badh sakte hain, jo ki kaafi bada jump hai! Aur toh aur, NMIA tak pahunchne ke liye abhi koi direct metro line jaisi achhi transport facility bhi nahi hai. Iska matlab hai ki zyada log toh abhi bhi purane Mumbai Airport (BOM) ke Terminal 1 ko hi use karenge, jo abhi band nahi hua hai. Toh bhai, itne kharche aur incompelete facilities ke saath NMIA kaise chalega? Yeh sawaal hai.
Thoda Discount, Thoda Time De Do!
Air India ne yeh bhi proposal diya hai ki fees mein thoda flexibility honi chahiye. Woh chahte hain ki jo discount period mil raha hai, woh badha kar three saal kar diya jaaye, aur domestic routes ko bhi isme shamil kiya jaaye. Yeh sab isliye taaki transition thoda easy ho jaye. Lekin main point toh wohi hai ki kharcha zyada hai aur industry waise hi global instability aur jet fuel ke badhte prices se pareshan hai. Toh Air India ka yeh cautious move bilkul sensible lag raha hai, taaki Tata Group ke overall plan mein koi gadbad na ho.
NMIA Ke Liye Bhi Risk Hai Yeh!
Agar Air India ki baat sahi nikli aur NMIA ka kharcha sach mein zyada raha, toh wahan operate karne wali airlines ke liye future mushkil ho sakta hai. Especially jab Noida International Airport jaisi jagah cheaper option de rahi hain. Aur agar metro connectivity jaisi important facilities mein der hui, toh NMIA ka efficiency model gir sakta hai aur passengers bhi kam aa sakte hain. Regulators ko airlines ki asli financial situation ko bhi dekhna padega. Abhi toh filhaal, Air India ka yeh move dikha raha hai ki NMIA jaane ke benefits abhi utne zyada nahi hain jitna ki turant kharcha aur operational issues hain.
