Radisson Hotel Group toh India mein ekdum tarrif-e-top chal raha hai. Unka target hai ki 2026 ke end tak 157 se 160 operational hotels India mein khol den, aur saath hi 19,000 se 19,500 rooms bhi add ho jayengi. Ye sab unke bade 2030 tak 500 hotels ke target ka hissa hai. Is sabke peeche sabse bada reason hai India ka zabardast domestic travel, especially Tier-2 aur Tier-3 cities mein jo bohat resilient hain.
Lekin har kahani mein twist hota hai. West Asia crisis aur kuch aur global reasons ki wajah se metro cities mein thoda pressure hai. March mein toh RevPAR bhi 27-28% tak gira tha kuch urban areas mein. Par achhi baat ye hai ki secondary aur tertiary cities mein demand abhi bhi strong hai. Ye sab game change ho raha hai parent company Choice Hotels International (CHH) ke direction mein, jiska market cap lagbhag $5.5 billion hai. CHH ne Radisson ko August 2022 mein hi buy kiya tha taaki international presence badha sake.
Agar CHH ke numbers dekhein, toh Q1 2026 mein unki total revenues $340.6 million rahi. Haan, pichle saal ke comparison mein net income aur EBITDA mein thodi kami aayi hai, but company confidence dikha rahi hai. India ka hospitality sector toh waise bhi rocket hone wala hai. Analysts predict kar rahe hain ki ye 15-17% saalana grow karega 2030 tak, jo ki global average 8-9% se bohot zyada hai. Ye sab rising incomes aur badhti middle class ki wajah se ho raha hai. Competition bhi kam nahi hai, Marriott, Hilton, aur IHG jaise players bhi India mein zor laga rahe hain. Lekin Radisson ka focus domestic market par kaafi solid dikh raha hai.
