Toh bhai, ye LPG ki kami ka reason hai West Asia mein chal rahi tensions. Iski wajah se shipping routes pe problem aa rahi hai aur gas supply mein 25-50% tak ki kami ho rahi hai desh bhar mein. Isi liye lagbhag 60-70% restaurants ab alag-alag tarike use kar rahe hain, jaise induction stoves, electric equipment, aur biomass. Ye sab chal raha hai kyuki India 60% se zyada LPG import karta hai, toh bahar kuch bhi ho, yahan effect aata hi hai.

Ye import pe depend hone ka ek bada side effect hai ki jab international oil prices badhti hain, toh apna current account deficit badh sakta hai aur inflation bhi badh sakta hai. Isliye government energy security pe zor de rahi hai aur renewable energy ko badhava de rahi hai.
Sabse badi weakness toh ye hai ki hum 60-62% LPG bahar se mangate hain, aur West Asia mein koi bhi gadbad se seedha nuksaan hota hai. Piped natural gas (PNG) ek option hai, par woh bas kuch hi cities mein hai. Chote restaurants, jo organized nahi hain, unko sabse zyada dikkat ho rahi hai, kyuki unke paas na paise hain naye equipment kharidne ke, na hi stock karne ka capacity. Iske alawa, restaurants ko aur bhi problems face kar rahe hain jaise high operational costs, delivery platforms ki heavy commissions, aur kuch jagah par toh tax evasion ke bhi cases chal rahe hain.
Abhi situation normal hone mein 2-3 mahine lag sakte hain, agar supply chain theek rahi toh. Lekin ye jo current problems hui hain, isse restaurants definitely alternative energy sources ko permanently use karne lagenge. Sector ka growth future mein bhi strong rehne ka umeed hai, especially Tier-II aur Tier-III cities mein, jahan cost kam hai aur jaldi profit ho jata hai. NRAI (National Restaurant Association of India) bhi government se support maang rahi hai taaki sector aur grow kar sake.
