Kya Chal Raha Hai Textile Sector Mein?

US market mein India ke textile aur garment exports ki haalat patli ho gayi hai. Feb 2026 mein yeh exports 28.7% gir kar sirf $0.63 billion par aa gaye. Pichhle do mahine (Jan-Feb 2026) ki baat karein toh total exports $1.34 billion rahe, jo pichhle saal ke $1.69 billion se kaafi kam hain. Ye lagatar chhatha mahina hai jab exports mein kami aayi hai.

Tariff Ki Relief, Par Recovery Nahi!

Shuru mein toh US mein kaafi high tariffs lag rahe the, kabhi kabhi 50% tak! Lekin phir Feb 2026 mein US Supreme Court ne tariffs ka issue solve kiya, jiske baad global tariffs 10% ho gaye. Aur Feb 4 ke aas-paas toh trade negotiations se Indian goods par baseline tariffs 18% tak aa gaye. Sabko laga ab sab theek ho jayega, par aisa hua nahi. Market experts keh rahe hain ki peak season ke orders miss ho gaye, isliye itni tariff relief ke baad bhi exports turant recover nahi ho paa rahe hain.

Vietnam Top Par, China Ki Band Baj Gayi!

Overall US mein textile imports bhi January-February 2026 mein 13.47% gir kar $11.53 billion ho gaye. Is market mein, Vietnam ab sabse bada apparel exporter ban gaya hai. Unke exports 5.0% badh kar $2.99 billion ho gaye. Wahi, jo China pehle sabse bada supplier tha, woh ab 57.65% gir kar sirf $1.17 billion par aa gaya aur ab woh teesre number par chala gaya hai. Bangladesh ab doosre number par hai, $1.37 billion ke exports ke saath, haalanki unka bhi 8.53% export gira hai.

Demand Hi Nahi Hai Toh Kya Karein?

Tariffs ke alawa, US aur poori duniya mein consumer demand ki kami sabse bada reason hai. March 2026 mein US consumer confidence thoda badha toh sahi, par future ko lekar log abhi bhi chintit hain. Mehngai aur paison ki dikkat ke chalte log sirf zaroori cheezein kharid rahe hain aur value for money dekh rahe hain. Isi wajah se, kam tariffs hone ke bawajood sales nahi badh rahi.

Kuch Indian Companies Ki Bhi Halat Kharab

Kuch Indian companies bhi financial pressure mein hain. Jaise Arvind Fashions Ltd. ka P/E ratio negative (-329.1x) hai, jo profitability issues bata raha hai. Raymond Ltd. ka P/E ratio bhi bahut kam (0.1739 April 2026 tak) hai aur unka 1-saal ka return bhi negative (-16.67%) hai. Yeh sab dikhata hai ki sirf trade policy se zyada, company ki financial health aur market conditions bhi bahut matter karti hain.

Future Kya Kehta Hai?

Abhi filhal toh US consumer demand aur global economic situation par hi sab depend karta hai. Indian exporters ummeed kar rahe hain ki tariffs kam hone ka fayda uthayenge, par demand ki kami aur missed orders ki wajah se recovery ka path mushkil lag raha hai.
