BSNL Ne Kyun Chuna Apni Khud Ki 4G Tech?
Dekho, BSNL ne decision liya tha ki woh apna 4G tech stack khud banayenge, India ko self-reliant banane ke liye. Ismein Tata Consultancy Services, Tejas Networks aur C-DoT jaise partners ka haath hai. Abhi tak 98,000 towers par inka 4G chal raha hai. Ye achha hai desh ke liye, but iski wajah se network launch mein kaafi time lag gaya.
Race Mein Pichhe BSNL?
Jab tak BSNL apna 4G roll out kar raha tha, tab tak Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel aur Vodafone Idea national level par 5G launch kar chuke the. Ab BSNL ke 5G commercial services toh June 2025 ke baad hi expect ki jaa rahi hain. Socho, ye kitna bada gap hai! BSNL ₹20,000 Crore 4G mein aur ₹47,000 Crore future capex mein laga raha hai, but timing is the biggest issue.
Competition Ka Gap Aur Bhi Bada
Ab subscribers ki baat karein toh BSNL ke paas sirf 30 million hain, jabki Jio ke 492 million, Airtel ke 300 million aur Vi ke 128 million hain. Aur Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) ka scene toh aur bhi kharab hai. Airtel ka ARPU ₹250-256 hai, Jio ka ~₹208, aur BSNL ka sirf ₹40-175 ke beech mein! 5G subscribers aur nayi services mein toh yeh gap aur bhi badh jayega.
Loss Se Profit Tak Ka Safar Aur Hurdles
BSNL history mein kaafi loss mein raha hai, FY22 mein ₹7,441 Crore ka net loss tha. Lekin ab ek turnaround dikh raha hai, FY26 tak ₹5,000 Crore ka profit estimate hai. Lekin company government ke support par bahut depend karti hai. Ek report mein toh ye bhi pata chala ki BSNL ne Reliance Jio se shared infrastructure ka ₹1,757 Crore bill nahi liya, jisse ₹1,757 Crore ka nuksan hua. Company ka enterprise value analysts ₹1.2–1.5 lakh Crore estimate karte hain.
Aage Kya?
BSNL ka future iss baat par depend karta hai ki woh kitni jaldi 5G launch karte hain aur apni indigenous tech se kuch alag market bana paate hain. FY2025-26 mein double-digit operating profit growth ka target hai. But, subscriber, ARPU aur 5G launch mein competitors se piche rehna BSNL ke liye ek badi challenge hai.
