BSNL ka operating profit badha ₹5,100 Cr tak! Par network ki issues aur competition ka kya?
Overview

Arre BSNL ke investors ke liye badi khabar hai! State-run telecom company ne FY25 mein **₹5,100 Crore** ka operating profit report kiya hai, jo pichle saal se kaafi zyada hai. Iske saath hi, woh **50,000-60,000** naye mobile towers bhi laga rahe hain, jismein woh apni 4G technology use kar rahe hain.

Tower expansion se profit mein tezi!

BSNL poori tarah se network upgrade par focus kar raha hai. Company 50,000 se 60,000 naye mobile towers lagane ki planning kar rahi hai. Is expansion ke liye unhone already ₹20,000 Crore 4G network par kharch kar diye hain, jo ki India mein hi bani technology se hai.

Financials ki baat karein toh BSNL ne ek zabardast comeback kiya hai. Fiscal year 2024-2025 ke liye company ne ₹5,100 Crore ka operating profit report kiya hai, jo pichle saal ke ₹2,395 Crore se lagbhag double hai. Subscribers bhi badhe hain, June 2024 mein 8.55 Crore the, ab 9.27 Crore ho gaye hain. BSNL ko lagta hai ki 5G mein transition asaan hoga, kyunki unka 4G infrastructure khud ka hai aur bas core network software update karna padega.

Competition aur network ka gap?

Lekin yeh sab hone ke bawajood, BSNL ko India ke super competitive telecom market mein bhari takkar mil rahi hai. Market toh Reliance Jio aur Bharti Airtel hi control karte hain, jinke paas milakar 75% se zyada wireless subscribers hain. BSNL ka market share sirf 7.9% hai.

Revenue per user (ARPU) mein bhi bahut bada gap hai. Bharti Airtel ka ARPU ₹256 hai, Jio ka ₹211.4, jabki BSNL ka ARPU ₹40 se ₹175 ke beech mein hi hai. Yeh difference kaafi bada hai earnings mein.

Aur toh aur, BSNL 5G launch mein kaafi peeche hai, jabki competitors already 5G subscribers bana chuke hain. Company ke network mein bhi problems chal rahi hain. Kai naye 4G towers intended power se kam power par signal bhej rahe hain, jiske karan call drop hoti hai, signal weak rehta hai aur data speed bhi slow milti hai. TRAI ke reports bhi yahi dikhate hain ki service quality mein BSNL hamesha Jio aur Airtel se peeche hai.

Ab bhi weaknesses aur financial issues?

Profit badhne ke baad bhi, BSNL ki structural weaknesses abhi bhi hain. Unka 7.9% market share dikhata hai ki woh competition mein piche hain. Aur 4G network ke issues, jaise hazaron towers 35 dBm power par chal rahe hain jabki target 46 dBm hai, seedha service quality ko affect karte hain, jis se call drop rate badhti hai aur data speed kam hoti hai.

Yeh technical problems, aur apne domestic technology ko manage karne ki challenges, network ki reliability par sawaal uthate hain. Aur 5G launch mein delay BSNL ko aur peeche kar raha hai. Financials mein dekhein toh operating profit badha hai, par net loss abhi bhi ho raha hai. Q2 FY26 mein ₹1,357 Crore ka loss hua tha, jisse lagta hai BSNL sarkari support par nirbhar hai. CAG report ne toh yeh bhi bataya ki BSNL ne Reliance Jio ko shared infrastructure ke liye 10 saal se bill hi nahi kiya, jisse government ko ₹1,757 Crore ka nuksan hua hai.

Vodafone Idea ke saath infrastructure sharing ki baatein bhi BSNL par financial pressure aur competitive challenges ko dikhati hain.

Aage ka raasta?

BSNL ka future ab sarkari support aur operational hurdles ko paar karne par depend karta hai. Tower expansion aur domestic technology development national priorities hain, par yeh competitive market mein kitne successful honge, yeh kehna mushkil hai.

BSNL ke liye sabse zaroori hoga ki woh consistent aur high-quality network service de, 5G rollout tezi se kare, aur competitors ke saath ARPU gap ko kam kare. Infrastructure sharing se kuch cost savings ho sakti hai, par yeh fundamental competition ko nahi badlega.

Aakhir mein, BSNL ka turnaround unke operational performance ko sudharne aur apne badhe hue network ko market mein effectively monetize karne par nirbhar karta hai, jahan aajkal quality aur technology sabse important hai.
