Leadership Ka Chakkar Aur BSNL Ki Strategy
BSNL mein last kuch time se ek full-time CMD nahi tha, aur ab finally woh log private sector se kisi ko laane ke bare mein soch rahe hain. Jab se PK Purwar gaye, tab se Deputy Director General Robert J Ravi interim chief hain. Internal logon ke naam par bhi investigation chal rahi hain, toh bahar se kisi ko lana hi theek lag raha hai.
Company ka EBITDA toh 105% badh kar ₹4,858 Crore ho gaya hai pehle 9 mahine mein, aur revenue bhi 13% badhkar ₹17,705 Crore ho gaya hai. Lekin, Q3 FY26 mein company ko ₹1,306 Crore ka loss ho gaya, jo ki kaafi bada hai. Isliye leadership mein change zaroori lag raha hai.
Competition Itni Tough Hai Yaar!
India mein telecom market mein Jio aur Airtel ka raaj hai, almost 88% subscribers unke paas hain. BSNL ka wireless subscriber base 7.4% ke aas-paas hai (MTNL ke saath milakar). Aur ARPU ki baat karein toh BSNL ka sirf ₹91 hai Q2 FY26 mein, jabki Airtel ka ₹245 aur Jio ka ₹203.3 hai. Yeh difference kaafi zyada hai.
BSNL ne apna 4G network toh kaafi improve kar liya hai, lagbhag 100,000 sites ab operational hain. Lekin private companies apni 5G rollout mein bahut aage nikal gayi hain, unhone 500,000 se zyada base stations laga diye hain.
Ek achhi baat ye hai ki fixed-line internet quality mein BSNL ne FY26 mein sabse accha perform kiya hai, nPerf ke according. Upload speed aur latency mein woh Jio aur Airtel se behtar nikle.
Loss Ke Chakkar Aur Revival Packages
Government ne BSNL ko bachane ke liye ₹3.22 lakh Crore tak ka support diya hai 2025 tak ke liye. Aur BSNL par debt bhi sabse kam hai, sirf ₹23,297 Crore (March 2024 tak). Lekin phir bhi losses kam nahi ho rahe hain. Isliye lagta hai ki koi naya leader hi isko theek kar sakta hai, jo nayi ideas laaye aur kaam ko speed up kare.
Telecom sector ab change ho raha hai, AI aur business solutions pe focus kar raha hai. Satellite broadband aur fixed wireless access bhi trend mein aa rahe hain. Ek private CMD BSNL ko in sab mein aage le jaane mein help kar sakta hai.
