GIC ne diya Pixxel ko boost
Space tech wali company Pixxel ne apne latest funding round ko badha kar $80 Million se lekar $100 Million tak pahuncha diya hai. Pehle yeh $55-60 Million tha, lekin ab existing investor GIC ne double investment karke isko badha diya hai. Isse pata chalta hai ki investors ka bharosa hai company par, jo ab naye satellites launch karne aur technology ko improve karne wali hai.
Deepinder Goyal ka plan change
Eternal (pehle Zomato) ke founder Deepinder Goyal ne apna lagbhag $25-30 Million ka investment plan cancel kar diya hai. Woh abhi Eternal ke CEO role se hatkar apne personal ventures jaise LAT Aerospace aur Temple par focus kar rahe hain. Unka yeh withdrawal Bengaluru-based Pixxel ke saath unke pehle ke engagement se ek shift hai. Baaki existing investors se bhi expected hai ki woh pro-rata basis par apni stakes maintain rakhenge.
Growth aur Orbital AI ki plans
Is naye funding se Pixxel ka valuation $400 Million (pre-money) ho gaya hai, jo ab tak ka sabse bada hai. 2019 mein start hone ke baad se company $90 Million se zyada fund collect kar chuki hai. Yeh paisa company ke expansion plans ko fuel karega, khaas kar upcoming satellite launches ke liye. Isme Sarvam AI ke saath milkar Pathfinder satellite launch karne ka plan hai jo Q4 2026 mein hoga. Yeh satellite space mein hi data processing aur Indian languages ke AI models ko run karne ke liye banaya jaa raha hai.
Competition aur future
Pixxel ki yeh strategy use hyperspectral imaging market mein aage rakhti hai. Dusre Earth observation companies ke muqable, jo data acquisition aur ground analysis par focus karte hain, Pixxel ka AI ko orbit mein hi process karne ka approach alag hai. Pathfinder satellite ki success aur uski AI capabilities Pixxel ke future growth aur market positioning ke liye important hongi.
