India ki artificial intelligence (AI) industry global trends se thoda hatke chal rahi hai. Ye log diversified cloud infrastructure aur open-source tools ko zyada prefer kar rahe hain. Esya Centre ki ek report ke according, lagbhag 90% Indian AI companies ya toh hybrid ya multi-cloud strategies use kar rahi hain ya karne ka plan bana rahi hain. Isse fayda ye hai ki woh kisi single bade cloud provider par fully depend nahi rahenge.
Study mein 227 AI companies ko include kiya gaya tha.
Cloud Use Ko Phailana
Survey mein 62% companies ne bataya ki woh apne data centers ke saath-saath alag-alag chote cloud providers ki services bhi use kar rahi hain. 80% se zyada firms ne kisi cloud vendor ke saath exclusive contracts nahi kiye hain, jo batata hai ki woh apne infrastructure ko flexible tarike se manage karte hain. Competition ki wajah se lagbhag 99% companies ne compute expenses mein kami bhi report ki hai.
Performance Aur Security Pe Zyada Dhyaan
Aisa nahi hai ki price sabse important hai. Report kehti hai ki performance aur security, price se zyada critical hain cloud providers ko choose karne mein. Teen-chauthai companies ke liye, ye factors cost se zyada 'extremely important' the. AI workloads badhne ke saath-saath, scaling ki ability aur services ki range bhi bahut important hai.
Open-Source Models Ka Bada Chal
Indian AI sector open-source technologies ko bhi khoob use kar raha hai. Lagbhag 83% organizations open-source foundation models use karti hain, 67% proprietary models aur 63% custom-trained systems use karti hain. Companies models ko bhi flexible tarike se deploy kar rahi hain. Har paanch mein se teen companies ek hi category mein multiple models use karti hain, aur 81% companies apni specific task ke liye small aur large language models ko combine karti hain.
India ki generative AI startup scene mein kaafi growth dekhi gayi hai, jo 2023 ke first half se 2024 ke first half tak 3.6 guna badh gayi hai. Lekin, companies ko data quality kharab hone, government data tak limited access, copyright rules clear na hone aur Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023 se related regulatory uncertainty jaisi challenges face karni pad rahi hain.
"Survey data ek AI ecosystem dikhata hai jo kaafi believe karne se zyada active aur competitive hai," kaha Meghna Bal, Director at Esya Centre ne. Report suggest karti hai ki India mein AI adoption ki sabse badi rukawat market concentration ya funding nahi, balki skilled AI talent ki kami hai.
