IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw ne saaf kar diya hai ki India ab sirf electronics assembly hub nahi bana rahega. Goal ye hai ki 2028 tak hum apna khud ka fully indigenous smartphone launch karein. Ab tak hum sirf assembly par focus kar rahe the, par ab asli khel 'Product Design' aur 'Intellectual Property' banane ka hai.
Sector ke liye kya badal raha hai?
Dixon Technologies aur Kaynes Technology jaisi companies assembly mein toh tagda kama rahi hain, par ab design-led manufacturing par shift hona hoga. Iske liye R&D mein paisa phookna padega, jisse short-term mein cash flow par thoda asar pad sakta hai. Lekin long run mein ye high-margin game changer ho sakta hai.
