Petrol ke daam aasmaan par, toh Zoho ne badla plan?
Dekho bhai, asli scene yeh hai ki desh mein energy save karne ki zoron shoron se baatein ho rahi hain. Prime Minister Narendra Modi ne khud sabko fuel save karne ko bola hai, especially remote work ko promote karke. India kaafi zyada crude oil import karta hai (lagbhag 85-89%), toh jab international prices badhti hain, toh seedha desh ki economy par attack hota hai. Har $10 crude oil rise se India ki GDP 0.2-0.3% kam ho sakti hai aur inflation 1.7% tak badh jaati hai. FY27 tak IT sector ka growth bhi 2-3% tak slow ho sakta hai.
Zoho ki strategy mein change
Is situation ko dekhte hue, IT firm Zoho Corp, jiski valuation around ₹1,03,760 crore hai, apne WFH policies ko re-evaluate kar raha hai. Unke chief scientist Sridhar Vembu ne kaha hai ki company PM ki appeal ko seriously le rahi hai aur office vapas bulane ke recent decision par dobara विचार karegi. Ye waise bhi bade IT companies ke trend se thoda alag hai jo full office return chahte hain.
Zoho ne FY25 mein Rs 12,313 crore ki revenue aur Rs 3,191 crore ka net income report kiya tha. Company apni self-funded growth ke liye jaani jaati hai.
Poora IT Sector affected hai
NASSCOM jaisi organizations bhi keh rahi hain ki WFH models ko roles aur client needs ke hisaab se adjust kiya ja raha hai, saath hi energy saving bhi ek factor hai. Employee unions bhi WFH ko national goals ke liye support karne ki baat kar rahe hain.
WFH ke risks bhi hain
WFH se fuel toh save hoga, lekin company ke liye employees ko manage karna thoda tricky ho sakta hai, especially jab policy bar-bar change ho. Zyada oil prices se rupee weak hone par IT companies ko fayda ho sakta hai, lekin agar global economy slow hui toh tech spending kam ho jayegi, jo long term mein problem de sakta hai.
