Infosys ke CEO aur Managing Director Salil Parekh ne social media par chal rahi un reports ko dismiss kar diya jisme company ke ek employee ko US immigration authorities dwara detain ya deport karne ka dava kiya ja raha tha. 14 January ko Infosys ki teesri quarter earnings conference ke dauran baat karte hue, Parekh ne spasht kiya ki ye allegations galat hain.
"No Infosys employee has been apprehended by any US authority," Parekh ne kaha. "Kuch mahine pehle, hamare ek employee ko US mein entry deny ki gayi thi aur unhe India wapas bhej diya gaya tha." Is statement ka maqsad un viral posts ka khandan karna tha jismein Mysuru-based employee ko US project par hote hue Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents dwara uthakar jail ya deportation ka stark choice dene ka ilzam lagaya gaya tha, jismein public humiliation ka bhi zikr tha.
