America ne $53 billion, China ne $48 billion aur Europe bhi apne chip industry mein billion tak invest kar rahe hain. Pehle Taiwan aur South Korea jaise countries ne bina itne subsidies ke leading position haasil ki thi.

India ki pehli semiconductor mission (ISM 1.0) mein ₹76,000 crore the, aur ab uska focus execution pe hai. Par India mein bade projects ko time par finish karne mein hamesha se hi dikkat rahi hai. Sabse badi problem hai skilled talent ki kami. Chip design ke liye toh engineers hain, par complex manufacturing lines chalane ke liye jo process, equipment aur yield engineers chahiye, woh kam hain. Log US, Taiwan, South Korea chale jaate hain. Upar se, imported equipment, gases aur wafers pe nirbhar rehna geopolitical tensions aur supply chain disruptions ka risk badhata hai. Target hai ki 2030 tak India apni 75% chip demand khud poori kare, jo abhi 90-95% import karta hai. Iske liye perfect execution aur rapid tech adoption chahiye.
