Government Ne Badhaya Online Content Par Control

Dekho bhaiyo, India ki sarkar ne online content par apna control aur mazboot kar liya hai. Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) ko ab naye powers mil gaye hain jisse woh social media platforms se content takedown ka order de sakte hain, ek naye banaye gaye portal 'Sahyog' ke through. Is centralized system se ab police aur dusre officials bhi removal orders issue kar sakte hain, jo pehle sirf kuch hi ministries ke paas tha.

Tech Companies Ne Khada Kiya Khada?

Bade internet companies India ke badhte censorship measures ke khilaaf awaz utha rahi hain. X Corp. ne toh government ke Sahyog Portal ke khilaaf case bhi file kar diya hai. Unka kehna hai ki yeh portal content blocking ke liye ek alag system bana raha hai. Company ka argument hai ki yeh Information Technology Act, 2000 ke Section 69A mein diye gaye strict legal safeguards ko bypass karta hai aur online free speech ko kamzor karta hai, jise ek Supreme Court ki ruling (2015) ne bhi support kiya tha.

Court Ne Diya Govt Ka Saath, Par Appeal Hogi

Halanki X Corp. ne challenge kiya, Karnataka High Court ne September 2025 mein majority government ke side mein decision diya. Court ne kaha ki platforms ko content moderation ki responsibility leni chahiye, khas kar women ke khilaaf offenses ke mamle mein. Lekin X Corp. ne announce kiya hai ki woh is decision ke khilaaf appeal karenge. Pichle kuch saalon mein, IT Act ki intermediary guidelines mein jo changes (2021 mein) hue hain, usse online platforms ko Section 79 ke under pehle jitni legal 'safe harbor' protection nahi milti.

Data Privacy Aur Press Freedom Ki Chinta

Is situation mein aur uljhan badha di hai India ke Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act) (2023) ko lekar chal rahe Supreme Court cases ne. Critics ka kehna hai ki DPDP Act aur Right to Information (RTI) Act mein hue badlavon se press freedom ko khatra ho sakta hai. Aise changes journalists ke liye sensitive information publish karne se pehle govt se permission lena compulsory kar sakte hain, jisse accountability kam ho jayegi.

Takedown Requests Ka Volume Aur Transparency Ki Kami

Content removal requests ka volume bhi bahut zyada hai. X Corp. ne bataya ki 2025 ke pehle 6 mahine mein unko lagbhag 29,118 requests mili hain, matlab roz ka 160 requests! Sahyog Portal ka purpose bhi yahi hai ki central aur state government agencies, aur companies ke beech ye process easy ho jaye. Par in takedown requests par public data ki kami aur RTI queries pe limited responses milne se government ke badhe hue powers ko lekar transparency par sawaal uth rahe hain.
