Rentomojo IPO ka scene kya hai?
Sun rahe ho? Rentomojo ne apna Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) submit kar diya hai, matlab IPO lane ki taiyari pakki hai. Ye Indian rental economy mein apna business aur badhana chahte hain aur public market ka fayda uthana chahte hain.
₹150 Crore ka IPO, woh bhi market slowdown mein?
Ye IPO ek dum zabardast hone wala hai, jisme ₹150 crore ka fresh issue hoga aur saath mein around 28.4 million shares ka offer-for-sale (OFS) bhi hoga. Fresh capital se company apne operations ko boost karegi aur OFS se existing investors ko exit ka chance milega. Ye sab tab ho raha hai jab IPO market thoda slow chal raha hai aur investors ab sirf growth nahi, balki asli earnings pe zyada dhyan de rahe hain.
Rental Market Ka Asli Boss!
Geetansh Bamania ne 2014 mein Rentomojo shuru kiya tha aur aaj ye India ke furniture aur appliance rental market mein 42-47% market share ke saath sabse bada player hai (FY2025 ke hisaab se). Is market ka future bhi kafi bright lag raha hai. Furniture rental market 2024 ke ~$360 million se badh kar 2030 tak ~$780 million tak pahunchne ka andaza hai, matlab 12% CAGR. Appliance rental sector bhi 2030 tak ~$534 million ho jayega, jo 16.34% CAGR se grow karega. Cities mein badhti population, logon ka ek city se doosri city shift hona aur young generation ka subscription model pasand karna isko fuel de raha hai. Rentomojo abhi 22 cities mein 2.27 lakh se zyada customers ko service de raha hai aur 21 warehouses manage karta hai. Furlenco, Cityfurnish, Rentickle jaise competitors bhi is race mein hain. Rentomojo ne pehle bhi $58.4 million fund raise kiya hai, jisme se $25 million Series D round mein February 2024 mein aaye the. FY25 mein inka net profit ₹43.11 crore raha tha aur revenue ₹266 crore.
Kuch Risks Bhi Hain Yaar!
Rental business mein assets ki value kam hona, inventory manage karna aur logistics ka kharcha laga rehta hai. IPO market ka current scene bhi thoda uncertain hai. Agar economy mein koi gadbad hui ya log cities mein aana kam kar denge, toh subscribers kam ho sakte hain. Company ko IPO se mile paise ko sahi se manage karna padega taaki profit mein bani rahe.
Aage Kya Hoga?
Is IPO se milne wale paise se Rentomojo apni reach badhayega, technology improve karega aur ho sakta hai kuch aur companies ko acquire bhi kare. Agar ye current IPO market mein successful ho gaya, toh baki rental companies ke liye bhi ye ek example banega.
