Modi ji ne Norway mein jaakar wahaan ke bade investors ko India mein paisa lagane ka offer diya hai. Asal mein, Norway ka sovereign wealth fund, Government Pension Fund Global, duniya ka sabse bada fund hai, aur Modi ji chahte hain ki yeh fund India mein invest kare.

India aur Norway ke beech trade bhi badh raha hai. FY26 mein India ka export Norway ko $471.9 million tak pahunch gaya tha, jo FY25 mein $425 million tha. Lekin, overall trade mein Norway ka share abhi bhi kam hai, matlab ki abhi aur scope hai.

PM Modi ki Norway visit ka ek bada focus India aur European Free Trade Association (EFTA) ke beech ka naya Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement hai. Is deal se expect kiya ja raha hai ki next 15 saalon mein India mein $100 billion ka investment aaega aur 10 lakh jobs create honge. Norway ke sovereign aur pension funds se yeh paisa India ke infrastructure projects, energy transition aur capital market development mein lagaya jaa sakta hai.

Yeh sab India ki economic growth strategy ka hissa hai jismein foreign capital attract karna ek major goal hai. EFTA agreement se dono deshon ke beech economic cooperation aur badhegi, jismein Norway ka financial power ek important role play karega. Infrastructure aur green energy sectors par focus dikhata hai ki government future ke liye planning kar rahi hai.
