SEBI ka naya rule: Vault Managers ke liye Net Worth badhkar hui ₹75 Cr, ab ETFs bhi cover

SEBI ne Vault Managers ke liye naye rules set kar diye hain. Ab inka scope Gold aur Silver ETFs tak badha diya gaya hai aur Minimum Net Worth requirement ko ₹50 Cr se badhakar ₹75 Cr kar diya hai.

Naye Rules ka matlab kya hai?

SEBI ne 2021 ke Vault Managers Regulations mein bada badlav kiya hai. Pehle ye sirf Electronic Gold Receipts (EGRs) par focus karte the, par ab isme Gold aur Silver ETFs aur bullion derivatives bhi shamil ho gaye hain. Iska seedha matlab hai ki ab bullion se jude har financial product ke liye security aur storage standards ek jaise honge.

Net Worth mein bada jump

Operational stability badhane ke liye, SEBI ne Minimum Net Worth limit ko ₹50 Crore se jump kara kar ₹75 Crore kar diya hai. Ye step isliye uthaya gaya hai taaki vault managers ke paas market ki complexity sambhalne ke liye kaafi capital ho.

Industry experts ka kehna hai ki ye ek bada 'barrier to entry' hai. Chote players ke liye itna bada capital maintain karna mushkil ho sakta hai, jisse market mein consolidation dekhne ko mil sakta hai—yaani chote players ya toh exit karenge ya bade players ke saath merge honge.

Security aur Standards ka tight grip

SEBI ab 'Gold Standards' ki jagah 'Bullion Delivery Standards' la raha hai. Iska maqsad storage aur delivery process ko aur bhi strict banana hai. Vault managers ko ab cyberattacks, chori, aur fraud se bachne ke liye advanced security lagani hogi.

Har asset class ke liye ab separate accounts aur records maintain karna compulsory hoga. Compliance officers ka role ab aur bhi critical hone wala hai, kyunki unhe har step par monitoring karni hogi. Agla step SEBI ka woh circular hoga jo operational instructions detail mein batayega.
