SEZ Rules Update: Manufacturers ke liye badi rahat, ab unsold stock ko wapas lana hua easy

Government ne SEZ rules mein badlav kiya hai. Ab manufacturers apne domestic buyers se reject hue goods ko wapas mangwa sakte hain, jisse inventory loss kam hoga.

Kya badla hai rules mein?

Union government ne SEZ units ke liye rules relax kar diye hain. Pehle, agar domestic market (DTA) mein buyers ne goods reject kar diye, toh manufacturers ke liye unhe manage karna headache ban jata tha. Ab, naye rules ke mutabik, units apne rejected goods ko wapas apne SEZ facility mein la sakte hain. Isse inventory pile-up aur heavy write-offs ka risk kafi kam ho jayega.

Return aur Compliance ki shartein

Ye koi free pass nahi hai, dosto! Goods wapas lane ke liye 30 din ka strict window diya gaya hai. Saath hi, government ne compliance tight rakhi hai taaki duty evasion na ho. Companies ko proof dena hoga ki goods wahi hain aur original buyer ne koi Input Tax Credit claim nahi kiya hai. In items ko alag se track karna zaroori hai.

Investors ke liye kya matlab hai?

Isse operational efficiency aur working capital mein seedha asar padega. Textiles, electronics, aur auto components jaise sectors, jahan inventory cost bohot high hoti hai, unhe ab repair ya re-export karne mein aasani hogi. Repair ke liye 6 mahine ka samay mil raha hai aur sirf value-added components par hi duty lagegi.

DTA Sales par nazar rakhein

Yaad rakhein, SEZ units abhi bhi DTA mein 5% se 12.5% concessional duty par sell kar sakte hain, lekin ye sales unke 30% export value se zyada nahi ho sakti. Companies jinhe internal controls majboot hain, unhe iska zyada fayda milega. Agla monitorable yahi hai ki kaunsi company apne inventory turnover ratio ko kitna improve kar paati hai.
