India's Green Grid Push: ₹22K Cr Fund Aye, Par Kaam Kab Hoga?
Overview

India ekdum se apne Green Energy Corridor (GEC) projects mein **₹22,000 Crore** se zyada ka paisa daalne wala hai, taaki renewable energy ko national grid se smoothly connect kar sakein.

Aage dekhte hain, yeh ₹22,000 Crore kahan jaa rahe hain. Phase I mein lagbhag ₹10,000 Crore lag chuke hain aur yeh 20 GW renewable energy capacity ko grid se connect karne ke liye lagbhag finish hone wala hai, 8 states mein. Ab Phase II aa raha hai, jismein ₹12,000 Crore lagayenge FY2026 tak 20 GW aur jodna hai, 7 states mein. Ismein 10,750 circuit kilometers se zyada ki transmission lines aur 27,546 MVA substation capacity bhi add hogi. Full power!

Toh yeh GEC projects basically bridge ka kaam karenge, jisse India ki badhti hui solar aur wind energy ko grid mein aasani se lekar aa sakein. Duniya bhar mein bhi log grid mein paisa laga rahe hain, America aur China sabse aage hain, but India bhi pichhe nahi hai. Clean energy goals poore karne ke liye yeh investment bahut zaroori hai.

Par bhai, har kahani mein ek 'but' hota hai. Yahan sabse bada issue hai transmission infrastructure ka development, jo renewable energy capacity badhne ke mukable mein kaafi peeche chal raha hai. Sunne mein aa raha hai ki 50 GW se zyada renewable energy capacity 'stranded' ho gayi hai, matlab use grid se connect karne mein dikkat aa rahi hai. Zameen milne mein deri, permissions aur land acquisition ke chakkar mein kaam ruk jaate hain. Aur toh aur, states ke discoms ki financial health bhi theek nahi hai, jisse payment delays ho rahe hain. Regulations bhi alag alag states mein alag alag hain, jis se investors confuse ho jaate hain. Foreign investors bhi sochte hain kyunki unke liye paisa aur risky ho jata hai. Plus, solar aur wind toh mausam ke hisaab se chalte hain na, kabhi tej kabhi slow, toh is fluctuations ko sambhalne ke liye energy storage bahut chahiye, par abhi humari battery aur pumped hydro storage capacity targets se kaafi kam hai. Yeh sab bade challenges hain.

Abhi toh Future bhi plan ho raha hai! India GEC Phase 3 aur 4 bhi soch raha hai taaki 150 GW renewable energy ko manage kar sakein. Analysts bol rahe hain ki power transmission sector mein growth ka potential hai, government ka support hai, par asal khel toh efficient execution aur bottlenecks hatane mein hai. Agar yeh sab ho gaya toh India ki clean energy journey mein yeh GEC ek game-changer ban sakta hai.
