Scheme ne macha diya hai dhamaka!

February 2024 mein launch hui yeh 'Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana' seedha rooftop solar sector mein craze laayi hai. Iska target hai millions of logon ko affordable solar power dena. Sirf gharon ka bill kam nahi hoga, balki poori solar industry mein demand badh gayi hai, manufacturers se lekar installers tak sab enjoy kar rahe hain.

Market boom aur kaun hai faydemand?

Scheme aane ke baad se residential rooftop solar installations mein zabardast increase dikha hai. July 2025 tak, yeh total residential capacity ka lagbhag 45% ban gaya hai. Target hai FY27 tak 30 GW solar capacity aur 10 million households. Analysts bol rahe hain ki India rooftop solar market 2026 mein 20.84 gigawatts aur 2031 tak 48.55 gigawatts ho jayega, matlab 18.41% ka growth rate!

Is demand se Tata Power Solar, Adani Solar, aur Waaree Energies jaise bade players ko khoob fayda ho raha hai. Waaree Energies ke paas March 2026 tak ₹530 billion ka order book hai. Woh apni manufacturing badha rahe hain aur battery storage mein bhi ghus rahe hain. Premier Energies bhi apni capacity badha raha hai. Government ki PLI scheme local manufacturing ko aur support kar rahi hai.

End users ke liye toh yeh goldmine hai. Subsidies 60% tak installation cost cover kar sakti hain. Ek 3 kW system ka payback period sirf 3.5 se 4.5 saal hai. Net metering policies se log surplus electricity grid ko dekar earn bhi kar sakte hain.

Politics ki baat karein toh India ne apne renewable energy targets time se pehle hi achieve kar liye hain. Borosil Renewables ka EBITDA toh FY26 mein 402% badh gaya, woh bhi government ki anti-dumping duties ki wajah se!

Challenges bhi hain, bhai!

Par sab kuch itna bhi aasan nahi hai. Scheme ke liye jo applications aa rahi hain, unmein se sirf 22.7% hi installation tak pahunch pa rahi hain (July 2025 tak). Financing, vendor capacity aur approvals mein problems aa rahi hain. Agar yeh issues solve nahi hue toh delays ho sakte hain.

Plus, yeh pura sector subsidies par depend karta hai. Agar government ne policy change kar di toh demand gir sakti hai. States mein net metering rules ka implementation bhi alag-alag hai. Grid stability aur storage solutions mein bhi zyada investment chahiye jo abhi kam hai. Adani Green Energy jaise bade players bhi late 2025 mein allegations ki wajah se scrutiny mein the, jo governance risks dikhata hai.

Aage ka scene?

Overall, India ka rooftop solar market abhi aur badhega. Government support, kam hote costs aur logon ki badhti awareness iske peeche hai. Scheme toh momentum de hi rahi hai, par implementation aur grid integration par dhyaan dena hoga. Analysts ko sector mein acchi growth dikh rahi hai aur manufacturing, storage aur C&I segments se bhi opportunities aayengi. Local manufacturing par focus India ki energy security ke liye bhi accha hai.
