Toh hua ye hai ki Ministry of New and Renewable Energy ne confirm kiya hai ki India ki installed solar power capacity ab 150 GW ko paar kar chuki hai. Aur suniye, sirf 2025 mein hi humne record-breaking 44 Gigawatts (GW) capacity add kar li hai. Ye numbers dekh kar lagta hai hum solar energy mein champion banne ki raah par hain.

Is tremendous growth ke peeche government ke kai bade schemes ka haath hai. Jaise ki 'PM Surya Ghar Muillère Yojana', 'PM-KUSUM' scheme, aur solar manufacturing ke liye 'Production Linked Incentive (PLI)' scheme. In sab ne milkar investment ko boost kiya aur poore desh mein solar panels lag gaye.

Ye jo 44 GW humne ek saal mein lagaya hai na, ye US jaise countries se zyada hai (woh log saal mein 30-40 GW lagate hain). Sirf European Union aur China hi humse aage hain. Agar 2014 se pehle ki baat karein, toh total solar capacity sirf 2.5 GW thi! Kya change aaya hai!

Ab ek NGO hai, NatConnect, woh keh rahe hain ki Prime Minister Narendra Modi ko 'Mass Solar Mission' launch karna chahiye, jaise Swachh Bharat Abhiyan chala tha. Unka kehna hai ki decentralized tareeke se, community ke saath milkar kaam karne se hum crude oil imports (jo 85% hai) par apni nirbharta kam kar sakte hain aur desh ki energy security ko aur bhi pakka kar sakte hain.
