RBI ne Account Aggregators ko saaf bol diya hai ki customer data ke saath koi khel-waad bardasht nahi hoga. Regulator chahta hai ki ye system puri tarah se neutral rahe aur data monetization bilkul ban ho.
Data privacy par RBI ka stand hai clear
Samvaad 2026 conference mein RBI ke Executive Director Kesavan Ramachandran ne ek dum strict tone mein kaha hai ki Account Aggregators (AA) ka kaam sirf data transfer ka hai, usse paise kamane ka nahi. Ye system data-blind design par chalta hai, matlab aggregators na toh data ko store kar sakte hain, na decrypt aur na hi customer ki marzi ke bina uska istemal kar sakte hain.
Standardisation aur Interoperability par zor
RBI ab tech systems ko standardise kar raha hai taaki Financial Information Providers (FIPs) aur Users (FIUs) ke beech data bina kisi rukawat ke exchange ho sake. Iske liye Reserve Bank Information Technology (ReBIT) aur Sahamati ke saath mil kar kaam chal raha hai. Total 19 financial information categories ko uniform format mein lane ki planning hai, jisse chhote players ko bhi barabar ka mauka mile.
Digital India ka naya pillar
Ramachandran ne AA network ko Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM), UPI, aur ULI ke baad India ka 4th digital public infrastructure pillar bataya hai. Ab ismein demat holdings ka data bhi add ho raha hai. RBI ka kehna hai ki jo institutions data use kar rahe hain, unhe khud bhi data provide karna chahiye, taaki pura ecosystem transparent aur balanced bane.
