Navi Mumbai mein dusra 13.6 meter diameter ka cutterhead install kiya gaya hai. Ab Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor ke liye khudaai shuru hogi. Ye badi-badi Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) shaher ke dense areas ke neeche se Bandra-Kurla Complex tak khudaai karengi. Ismein structural integrity kaafi important hai. Project mein advanced vibration monitoring aur soil stabilization techniques use ho rahi hain taaki shahar ka infrastructure aur Mithi River ko koi nuksaan na pahunche.
India Ka Pehla Undersea Rail Tunnel
Is project ka sabse challenging hissa hai Thane Creek ke neeche banne wala 7-kilometer ka undersea tunnel. Ye Maharashtra mein 21-kilometer ke underground route ka sabse technical hissa hai. Design aisa hai ki ek hi bade diameter wale tunnel mein dono bullet train lines hongi, jisse coastal area mein environmental impact kam hoga. Undersea segment par pressure manage karne ke liye seismographs aur strain gauges se real-time monitoring ki jaayegi.
Kaun bana raha hai aur Paisa Kahan se?
Project ko NHSRCL manage kar raha hai, lekin L&T (Larsen & Toubro) main contractor hai civil aur track work ke liye. L&T project ke 50% se zyada track packages sambhal raha hai, jisme Shinkansen-style ballastless tracks bhi hain. Is bade project ke liye funding mostly Japan se official development assistance loans se aa rahi hai.
Project Ka Kharcha Aur Deri
508 km ke corridor ke liye yeh bullet train project βΉ1 Trillion se zyada ka hai. Iski financial viability par sawal uth rahe hain, especially existing rail networks ko upgrade karne ke comparison mein. Project 2017 se hi land acquisition aur environmental clearances ki wajah se late ho raha hai. Financial analysts passenger volumes ko lekar debate kar rahe hain ki project profitable hoga ya nahi. Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary jaise sensitive areas par ecological impact kam karne ke efforts bhi jaari hain.
