Numbers ka Khel: Mahila Investors Ne Macha Diya Hai!

Pehle toh numbers ki baat karte hain jo sach mein kamaal ke hain. March 2019 mein, women ke mutual fund AUM sirf ₹4.59 Lakh Crore tha, jo March 2024 tak badh ke ₹11.25 Lakh Crore ho gaya hai. Matlab double se bhi zyada! Ab woh unique mutual fund investors ka 25.1% hain aur total individual investor AUM ka 33.2% contribute karti hain. Stock market mein bhi unka participation badh raha hai, projections ke hisaab se 2026 tak lagbhag 24.9% investors mahilaein hongi. Aur ek mazedar baat, har 4 naye stock market investor mein se 1 ladki hai! SIP mein bhi woh logon se 25% zyada contribute kar rahi hain.

Yeh Growth Kaha Se Aa Rahi Hai?

Is zabardast growth ke peeche kai reasons hain. First, education level badh gaya hai, cities mein ladkiyan ladkon jitna hi padh rahi hain. Second, workforce mein bhi unki entry zabardast hui hai, female Labour Force Participation Rate 42% tak pahunch gaya hai, jo pichhle 30 saalon mein sabse zyada hai. Aur haan, Fintech apps ne toh investing ko bilkul easy bana diya hai, sab kuch phone pe ho jata hai. Sabse important, financial independence ki chahat badhi hai, jisse woh future secure kar rahi hain.

Par Barriers Toh Abhi Bhi Hain!

Lekin har kahani mein twist hota hai na, waise hi yahan bhi hai. Sabse badi problem hai low financial literacy. Sirf 21% women financially literate hain, aur 41% active women investors toh risk aur returns jaise basic cheezein bhi nahi samajh paati. Iske alawa, gender pay gap toh hai hi - auraton ko har ₹1 pe sirf 73 Paise milte hain. Caregiving ki responsibilities ke karan unke savings plans bhi beech mein ruk jate hain. Aur samaj ki soch bhi thodi alag hai jo women ko financial decisions lene mein discourage karti hai. Financial advisory sector bhi mostly male-dominated hai, jahan women ko kabhi kabhi bias feel hota hai.

Industry Action Aur Opportunity

Ab jab numbers itne bade hain aur potential dikh raha hai, toh industry bhi action mein aa gayi hai. BSE ka #BeTheSmartInvestor, InvestHER, FinEMPOWER jaise programs chal rahe hain literacy badhane ke liye. Fintech companies bhi isko aur easy bana rahi hain. Data dikhata hai ki women ka credit quality achha hai aur woh timely payments karti hain, toh BFSI sector ke liye yeh ek bada opportunity hai. Agar inko sahi se target kiya jaye toh $700 Billion tak ka global investment capital unlock ho sakta hai.

Aage Kyaexpect Karein?

Trend toh yahi hai ki mahila investors ki sankhya aur badhti rahegi. Industry ko ab bas access nahi, balki proper engagement aur confidence bhi badhana hoga. Iske liye women-friendly products, gender-sensitive literacy programs, aur trust build karne wali advisory teams ki zaroorat hai. Agar ye core barriers solve nahi hue toh kaafi bada economic potential miss ho jayega aur financial disparities bani rahengi.
