Kya badla hai land rules mein?
Pehle university setup karne ke liye 50 acres ki requirement thi, jise ab tod kar bahut kam kar diya gaya hai. Ab major urban centers jaise Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati aur CRDA area mein sirf 10 acres zameen ki zarurat hogi. Baaki locations ke liye ye limit 15 acres rakhi gayi hai.
Brownfield projects ka naya model
Policy mein 'brownfield' model ko bhi support kiya gaya hai, jiska matlab hai ki jo existing educational institutions hain, wo ab upgrade hokar University ban sakti hain. Iske alawa, government ne purane regulatory body ki jagah ek nayi committee banayi hai jo fees par nazar rakhegi.
