SEBI ka naya SIF framework kya hai?

SEBI ne April 1, 2025 se ek naya SIF framework shuru kiya hai. Iska main goal hai ki jo traditional mutual funds aur zyada exclusive cheezein jaise PMS/AIFs hain, unke beech ki gap ko bhara ja sake. Is framework mein fund managers ko bahut zyada flexibility mil gayi hai. Yeh log ab derivatives ka khoob use kar sakte hain aur long aur short dono positions le sakte hain – jo pehle mutual funds ke liye restricted tha.

SIF mein invest karne ke liye minimum Rs 10 lakh hone chahiye. Yeh rules change hone se investors ko advanced, strategy-based options mil rahe hain ek regulated environment mein. Union Mutual Fund iska fayda uthane wala pehla fund house bana hai.

Aur kaun kaun aa raha hai SIF mein?

Sirf Union AMC hi nahi, HSBC, Kotak, Mirae Asset, Tata, SBI, aur Edelweiss jaise bade players bhi SIF space mein enter kar rahe hain ya karne wale hain. In short, sab log long-short strategies par focus kar rahe hain. Mazedaar baat yeh hai ki sirf 6 mahine mein is segment mein Rs 10,000 crore se zyada ka AUM jama ho gaya hai!

Long-Short Strategy ka Kamaal

Arthaya Equity Long Short Fund ki strategy simple hai: jo companies acha perform kar rahi hain aur jinka profit dikh raha hai, unme long positions lena, aur jo companies zyada overvalued lag rahi hain ya jinme structural problems hain, unmein short positions lena. Iska aim hai ki market kisi bhi cycle mein chal rahi ho, yeh fund returns generate kar sake aur market ki volatility ko bhi manage kar sake. Is strategy se downside risk ko bhi control karne ki koshish ki jati hai.

Fund ke details kya hain?

Union Mutual Fund ne Rajesh Aynor ko is SIF platform ka Investment Lead banaya hai, jinke paas 20 saal se zyada ka experience hai. Union Bank of India iski parent company hai. Yeh Arthaya Equity Long Short Fund ek open-ended equity scheme hai jisme minimum investment Rs 10 lakh hai. Iska New Fund Offer (NFO) period May 4 se May 18, 2026 tak hai. NFO ke time units ka price Rs 10 rakha gaya hai. Agar aap 1 saal ke andar redemption karte hain toh 1% exit load lagega. Iska benchmark NIFTY 200 Total Return Index hoga.

Risks bhi hain bhai!

Yeh strategies fund manager ke skill par bahut depend karti hain. Short positions ko manage karna kabhi-kabhi mushkil ho sakta hai. Kuch SIF funds ne March 2026 tak market correction ke waqt losses bhi dikhaye hain. Agar market bahut tezi se bhage toh ye funds thoda peeche reh sakte hain. Isliye, investing se pehle research zaroor kar lena.
