Naya ETF, Naya Mauka?

Soch rahe ho paisa kahan lagayein? Groww Mutual Fund ne ek naya option nikala hai, Groww Nifty Private Bank ETF. Iska NFO period chal raha hai May 6 se May 20 tak. Ye ek passive fund hai jo Nifty Private Bank Index ko track karega. India mein passive funds ka craze badh raha hai, low cost ki wajah se log ise pasand kar rahe hain.

Private banks ne pichle 10 saalon mein India ke financial system mein apna share 21% se badha kar 38% kar liya hai deposits mein. Ye sab efficiency aur customer demand ki wajah se hua hai. Index mein top 10 private banks hain, jinka weight market cap ke hisab se decide hota hai.

Performance Kaisa Hai?

Dekho, Nifty Private Bank Index ka market cap ₹31.67 Lakh Crore hai aur P/E ratio 17.1 chal raha hai. Lekin pichle 1 saal mein performance slow raha hai, CAGR -4.80% diya hai. Public Sector Banks (PSUs) toh aag laga rahe hain, unke compare mein toh ye kafi peeche hai.

Bade private banks ka performance bhi mila-jula hai: HDFC Bank 19% gira, ICICI Bank 10% aur Kotak Mahindra Bank 14% neeche gaye. Axis Bank aur IndusInd Bank ne thoda 9% ka gain dikhaya. Par agar chote banks dekhein, jaise AU Small Finance Bank 50% aur Federal Bank 45% upar bhage hain.

Index ka Price-to-Book value 2.57 hai, jo 10-saal ke average 2.92 se kam hai. Matlab value investors ke liye kuch potential ho sakta hai.

Challenges Bhi Kam Nahi Hai!

Fitch Ratings keh raha hai ki banks ke margins par pressure badh sakta hai. FY27 tak margins 20-30 Basis Points kam ho sakte hain, abhi 3.1% expected hai. Funding costs badh rahe hain global tensions ki wajah se aur deposits ke liye competition bhi zabardast hai.

Credit growth deposit growth se zyada hai, jisse liquidity tight ho rahi hai aur funding mehngi ho rahi hai. Index mein top 4 banks (ICICI, HDFC, Kotak, Axis) 80% weight rakhti hain, toh ETF ka performance basically unpar hi depend karega. McKinsey toh keh raha hai ki bank profitability ka peak shayad ho gaya hai, aur zyada growth ki ummeed kam hai.

RBI ne repo rate 5.25% par stable rakha hai aur inflation (FY27 ke liye 4.6% projected) ki wajah se RBI ko paisa market mein dalne mein dikkat ho sakti hai.

Investor Ke Liye Kya Hai?

Experts ka kehna hai ki FY27 mein Indian banking stocks ek range mein trade kar sakte hain. Elara Securities bade private banks ko prefer kar rahi hai jo steady profit de sakein, na ki sirf stock price jump.

Groww Nifty Private Bank ETF low-cost exposure de raha hai, par investors ko margin compression, bade banks ka mixed performance, aur global economic risks ko dhyan mein rakhna hoga. Asset quality abhi bhi theek hai, NPA 2.4% par hai, par ye ETF sirf index ko track karega, active management nahi hai.
