Court Ne Maangi Sakht Jaanch
Delhi High Court ab Dilli Police ki us jaanch ko khud dekh raha hai jismein student activists ke illegal detention aur torture ke aarop hain. Court ne Joint Commissioner of Police (Southern Range) ko yeh probe lead karne ko bola hai, jo police department ki credibility par unki gehri chinta dikhata hai. Yeh kadam tab uthaya gaya jab pehle bhi court ne police ke fair investigation karne ke tareeke par sawaal uthaye thay.
Justices Navin Chawla aur Ravinder Dudeja ne kaha hai ki woh sachai pata laga kar rahenge aur jaanch par nazar rakhenge. Justice Chawla ne saaf kar diya hai ki woh koi bhi facts chupane ya superficial jaanch karne ki koshish bardasht nahi karenge. Agli sunwai July 13 ko hogi jahan findings review ki jayengi.
CBI Kar Sakti Hai Case Ki Jaanch?
High Court ki zidd hai ki internal jaanch sakhti se ho, aur court ne pehle hi yeh socha tha ki mamla Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) ko transfer kar diya jaaye. Isse pata chalta hai ki court ko Dilli Police par bharosa nahi hai ki woh impartial tareeke se is mamle ko suljha paayenge, khaas kar jab aarop itne gambhir hain.
Mamla tab shuru hua jab students ne habeas corpus petitions file ki, jismein unhone kaha ki March 2026 mein unhein bina wajah bandh kar torture kiya gaya tha. Police ne shuru mein kaha tha ki students se Maoist links aur ek disappearance case ke baare mein poochhtaachh hui thi aur phir unhein chhod diya gaya tha, lekin court ko yeh explanations par shak hai.
Aur toh aur, court ko yeh bhi pata chala hai ki important jagahon par security cameras chal nahi rahe thay, jabki pehle unhe footage preserve karne ka order mila tha. Isse police ki transparency aur effectiveness par aur zyada shak ho raha hai.
Civil Liberties Aur Accountability Par Asar
Is judicial involvement se activists ke saath kaise pesh aaya jaata hai aur law enforcement ki accountability par bade sawaal khade ho gaye hain. Court dwara police ke investigative methods ko challenge karna, aur CBI oversight ki sambhavna, fair legal processes aur civil liberties ko protect karne ke liye ek naya standard set kar sakta hai.
Iska parinaam sirf involved logon par hi nahi, balki justice system par public trust par bhi padega. Habeas corpus petitions ka istemaal judicial review ke mahatva ko dikhata hai, khaas kar jab torture aur illegal confinement ke gambhir aarop hon.
