X (Twitter) ne India Govt ko Court mein ghasita! 12 Accounts block karne ka order galat, Company ka aarop
Overview

Arre yaar, X (pehla Twitter) ab seedha India ki sarkaar se takra gaya hai! Company ne Delhi High Court mein ek case daal diya hai government ke us order ke khilaaf jismein unhone **12** accounts ko block karne ko kaha tha. X ka kehna hai ki yeh order IT Act aur proper process ko violate karta hai.

Toh ye sab hua kaise, chalo details mein jaate hain.

X ne Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) ko March 19, 2026 ko bola ki government ka jo order hai na 12 accounts ko block karne ka, woh Information Technology Act, 2000 ke Section 69A ko follow nahi karta. X ka main argument hai ki jo evidence government ne diya hai, woh Section 69A ke criteria jaise ki desh ki security, public order, ya doosre countries se relations ko justify karne ke liye kaafi nahi hai.

Aur, X ye bhi keh raha hai ki poore account ko hi block kar dena, sirf kuch posts ko nahi, yeh toh bahut hi excessive ho gaya. Company ka mannna hai ki yeh users ke rights ko unfair tarike se limit karta hai, aur unhe apna side rakhne ka mauka bhi nahi milta. Basically, law ke hisaab se yeh 'least intrusive measure' nahi hai. Case mein 'Dr Nimo Yadav' account ka zikr hai, jahan 'false narratives' failane aur AI manipulated content use karne ka aarop hai.

Yeh sab tab ho raha hai jab India apne online content rules ko kafi tight kar raha hai. Naye IT Rules, jo February 20, 2026 se लागू hain, unhone content hatane ki deadline ko ghata kar sirf 3 ghante kar diya hai galat content ke liye, aur deepfakes jaise non-consensual sexual imagery ke liye toh 2 ghante! Iske alawa, March 30, 2026 ko MEITY ne ek proposal bhi diya hai jismein government ki advisories ko compulsory kar diya jayega, warna platform apna legal protection kho sakte hain. Ye sab platforms jaise X, Meta, Google ke liye bahut pressure wala kaam hai, jismein unhe 24/7 monitoring karni padegi.

Aisa pehli baar nahi ho raha hai X (ya Twitter) aur Indian authorities ke beech takraav ka. Pehle bhi 2022 mein government ke order ko block karne par dispute hua tha, aur 2021 mein toh police bhi unke offices tak pahunch gayi thi. Karnataka High Court ne pehle bola tha ki government Section 69A ke under poore accounts ko block kar sakti hai, jise X ab challenge kar raha hai.

Ab yeh jo strict regulations aa rahi hain na, inmein kafi risks hain global platforms ke liye. Jaldi jaldi takedown deadlines, combined with expanded government power to issue binding directions, platforms par immense pressure daal rahe hain ki woh turant comply karein, jisse thorough review processes aur user rights ko nuksaan pahunch sakta hai. Critics ko dar hai ki public order aur national security ke naam par yeh sab censorship aur dissent dabane ke liye use ho sakta hai, aur non-compliance par legal protection kho dene ka risk toh hai hi, jo platforms ko government ke orders ko zyada priority dene par majboor kar raha hai.
