Supreme Court ke Justices JB Pardiwala aur KV Vinod Chandran ne saaf kar diya hai ki walkways ki kami fundamental rights ka violation hai. Delhi High Court ke aas-paas ka kaam 25 November 2026 tak khatam karna hi hoga, warna senior officials ko summon kiya jayega.

Ab poore desh mein IRC 103:2022 guidelines lagoo ho rahi hain. Iska matlab hai ki roads par ab sirf gaadiyan nahi, balki pedestrians ki safety aur accessibility (jaise wheelchair access aur anti-skid surfaces) par main focus hoga.

Ab government ke naye tenders mein ye safety standards compulsory ho sakte hain.
