Arvind Kejriwal Acquittal: ED ne High Court mein appeal daali, Market mein chayi uncertainty
Overview

Arre yaar, Delhi Excise Policy wale case mein ek naya twist aaya hai! Enforcement Directorate (ED) ne trial court ke us decision ko challenge kiya hai jismein Arvind Kejriwal ko acquittal mila tha. Ab yeh mamla Delhi High Court mein pahunch gaya hai, aur investors thoda chintit hain.

ED ka naya move kya hai?

Asal mein, ED ka kehna hai ki trial court ne galat faisla diya hai. Unke hisaab se, Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal ne intentionally summons ko follow nahi kiya tha, aur iske liye sufficient evidence tha, jise trial court ne nazarandaaz kar diya. Isliye, ED ne ab Delhi High Court mein appeal daal di hai taaki woh acquittal ko overturn karwa sakein. Yaad hai na, yeh poora case Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena ki complaint se shuru hua tha aur ED ne money laundering ka case file kiya tha. Kejriwal ko pehle is mamle mein arrest bhi kiya gaya tha, par baad mein Supreme Court ne unhein bail de di thi. Trial court ne January mein kaha tha ki ED ne wilful non-compliance ka proof nahi diya tha.

Market par kya asar padega?

Aise bade legal cases, khaas kar jab political figures involve ho, market mein uncertainty badha dete hain. India ka stock market, jaise Nifty 50 aur BSE Sensex, political stability aur regulatory clarity se kaafi jude hue hain. Currently, Nifty ka P/E ratio lagbhag 19.6-20.0 chal raha hai, jo ek moderately valued market dikhata hai. Par jab aise legal hurdles aate hain, toh investors thoda caution dikhate hain. Haal hi mein Sensex 71,948 aur Nifty 50 ke aas-paas 22,331 tak gire hain, jo global tensions aur foreign investor sentiment mein changes ka bhi nateeja hai.

Broader Risks aur Aage kya?

Jab ED jaise agencies ek strong enforcement approach dikhati hain, toh isse sectors mein scrutiny badh sakti hai. Investors ke liye sabse badi problem hai 'regulatory unpredictability' ka badhna. Financial irregularities par chal rahi investigations companies ke liye challenging environment bana sakti hain. Agar yeh case politics mein bada impact karta hai toh market aur volatile ho sakta hai aur foreign investment bhi kam ho sakti hai.

Ab sabki nazar April 1 par hai, jab Delhi High Court mein is appeal ki hearing hogi. Agar High Court ne ED ki appeal maan li, toh yeh case lamba chal sakta hai, jisse uncertainty aur badhegi. Analysts dekhenge ki koi naya statement aata hai ya nahi jo regulatory strategy badal de. Market ka reaction is par depend karega ki acquittal overturn hone ke chances kitne hain.
