Fast Cash Ki Race
India ke quick-commerce sector ke liye Zepto ka $1 Billion ka IPO ek big deal hai. Late 2025 mein $7 Billion valuation par funding milne ke baad, ab fastest delivery wala tag investors ko attract kar raha hai. Lekin bhai, ab market growth se zyada governance aur profit pe focus kar raha hai. Public market mein 2026 ki shuruaat mein jo listings hui, uske baad investors ab sirf GMV badhane ke bajaye sustainable profit dekh rahe hain.
Business Model Ka Sach
Zepto ka USP hai premium customers aur 8-10 minute mein delivery. Par iska business model bilkul bhi sasta nahi hai. 'Dark stores' se inventory rakhne ka strategy tabhi work karta hai jab order volume bohot zyada ho taaki rent aur delivery logistics ka fixed cost cover ho sake. Traditional e-commerce ki tarah central warehouses nahi hone se, Zepto ke costs order fluctuations se bohot zyada affect hote hain. Aur udhar Blinkit, jisko Zomato ka support hai, uska market share bhi zyada hai. Zepto ko bohot dhyan se operate karna padega.
Investors Ke Sawal
Jo investors Zepto mein paisa lagana chahte hain, unhe growth ke saath-saath risks bhi dekhne honge. Mid-2025 mein hygiene issues ke karan company ke ek hub ko band karna pada tha, jaise expired stock aur kharab storage. Halanki Zepto ne problems solve kar di hain, par corporate governance ke liye ye ek concern hai. Plus, ultra-fast delivery ke chakkar mein gig workers aur traffic management ka cost bhi hai. Agar labor laws ya food safety regulations strict hue, toh Zepto pe zyada impact padega as compared to badi companies.
Aage Kya?
Jaise-jaise Zepto July 2026 ke IPO ke paas aa raha hai, market dekhega ki company negative EBITDA se consistent cash flow kaise banati hai. Experts ka kehna hai ki Zepto Cafe aur household goods jaise higher-margin products mein enter karke AOV (Average Order Value) badhane ki koshish kar raha hai. Ye strategies ise competitive aur price-sensitive grocery delivery market mein survive karne mein help karegi ya nahi, ye toh waqt hi batayega.
