US Supreme Court Ka Verdict Aur Tariffs Ka End

America ki Supreme Court ne ek zordar faisla sunaaya hai jiske baad se "reciprocal tariffs" ko band kar diya gaya hai. Iska matlab hai ki US Customs ne jo $160 billion se zyada ka duty collect kiya tha, uska refund dena padega. Indian exporters ke liye yeh bahut badi khabar hai, kyunki unhe $12 billion tak ka paisa wapas mil sakta hai. Is refund ke liye apply karne wala portal itna busy ho gaya tha ki kuch time ke liye toh woh overload ho gaya tha! Lagbhag 300,000 se zyada traders ko iska fayda hone wala hai.

Universal Tariff Ki Entry Aur India Ka Advantage?

Is ruling ke baad trade talks ka poora scene hi badal gaya hai. Pehle India ko baaki countries se thoda alag treatment milta tha, jo ek fayda tha. Lekin ab court ke decision ke baad 10% ka universal tariff lagu ho gaya hai. Former Ambassador Meera Shankar kehti hain ki agar koi naya deal nahi hua aur yeh standard rate maan liya gaya, toh India ko kafi nuksaan ho sakta hai.

US Ke Naye Pressure Points: Forced Labour Aur Excess Capacity

Former WTO Ambassador Jayant Dasgupta ne bataya ki America ab "forced labor" aur "excess manufacturing capacity" jaise mamlon par India ki jaanch kar raha hai. Yeh sabse zyada engineering goods, textiles aur leather sectors mein ho raha hai. Dasgupta ne warn kiya hai ki agar India US ki deals sign karne mein koi gadbad karta hai, toh new tariffs lagne ke chances kafi high hain. Unka kehna hai ki lagbhag 16 countries ko excess capacity aur 60 countries ko forced labor ke liye target kiya ja raha hai taaki woh US ke saath naye trade agreements par sign karein.

India Ki Trade Talks Mein Strategy

Reports ke mutabik, Indian negotiators Washington ko bata rahe hain ki US trade law ke Section 301 ke tahat kisi bhi action ka koi khaas reason nahi hai. Ambassador Shankar ka kehna hai ki India ki export capacity US ki domestic production ke liye koi threat nahi hai. New Delhi chahta hai ki talks mein mutual benefit aur reciprocity (aapasi fayda) ho, jo ki Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal bhi keh chuke hain.

Baaki Trade Aur Energy Concerns Bhi Hain

Dasgupta ne pharma sector par US tariffs ko zyada badi chinta nahi maana hai, unka kehna hai ki India ke generics market mein achi hold hai. Patented medicines wale exporters par bhi zyada asar nahi padega. Iske alawa, Ambassador Shankar ne India ke Russian oil imports ko lekar bhi uncertainty jatayi hai. West Asia crisis ki wajah se temporary waivers mili thi, par future mein kya hoga, yeh abhi clear nahi hai, jisse India ki energy security par bhi asar pad sakta hai. Toh yeh tariff refund aur tough talks ka combination ek complex trade situation bana raha hai. India ka future is baat par depend karega ki woh in badalti trade policies ko kaise handle karta hai.
