Canada ki RCMP ne ek bade operation 'Project E_PURSUANCE' ke baad 5 Indian-origin logon ko pakda hai. Ye gang British Columbia mein auto dealership owners ko arson aur shootings se dara dhamka kar extortion kar rahi thi.
Kya hua Canada mein?
Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) ne 16 mahine lambi investigation ke baad ek khatarnak extortion syndicate ka game baja diya hai. Is operation ko 'Project E_PURSUANCE' naam diya gaya tha, jo June 2025 mein shuru hua tha.
Business owners ki musibat
Ye gang British Columbia mein auto dealership owners ki naak mein dum kiye hue thi. Inka tarika bahut violent tha—ye log seedhe business locations par arson (aag lagana) aur firing karte the taaki owners ko darakar paisa vasool sakein. Surrey aur Langley jaise ilakon mein South Asian business owners is wajah se bahut tension mein the.
Arrests aur charges
Police ne 4 logon ko Surrey se aur 5th suspect, 23 saal ke Sanket Singla ko Toronto Pearson International Airport se pakda. In par sirf extortion hi nahi, balki:
- Arson
- Firearms trafficking
- Narcotics trafficking (Cocaine aur Fentanyl)
Jaise gambhir charges lage hain. RCMP ka kehna hai ki ye koi chhota-mota mamla nahi tha, balki ek badi criminal strategy thi.
Aage kya?
Abhi police ki investigation chal rahi hai aur wo ye bhi dekh rahe hain ki kya inke connection kisi bade transnational criminal group se toh nahi hain. Alberta aur BC ke business owners ko ab police ki update par nazar rakhni hogi, kyunki ab case court mein aage badhega.
