India aur Africa ka Trade Connection

New Delhi mein ye 4th India-Africa Forum Summit hone wala hai, aur focus hai dono taraf ke economic aur diplomatic rishte mazboot karne ka. Abhi tak, India aur Africa ke beech bilateral trade $103 billion tak pahunch gaya hai FY2025 mein. Aur India ne Africa mein lagbhag $75 billion ka investment bhi kiya hai. India se exports $42.70 billion aur imports $39.20 billion rahe FY2025 mein. Ye numbers dikhate hain ki rishta badh raha hai.

Challenges: China Ka Bhari Padna Aur Execution Gap

Africa ki economy strong ho rahi hai, 2026 tak 4% growth ka estimate hai. Lekin India ke goals poore hone mein kuch hurdles hain. Ek toh hai Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), jismein 1.3 billion log aur €3.18 trillion ka GDP hai; ise implement karna bhi challenge hai. Sabse bada comparison China se hai, jo India se kaafi aage hai. Sirf 8 mahine mein 2025 mein, China-Africa trade $222 billion pahunch gaya, India ke $103 billion (FY2025) se bahut zyada! China ka state-backed financing aur bade scale pe kaam India ke capacity building focus se alag hai.

Pichle Promises Kitne Poore Hue?

Sabse badi problem hai India ke commitments aur ground reality mein gap. Pichli summits mein jo billions ki credit lines di gayi thi (jaise 2008 mein $5.4 billion, 2011 mein $5 billion, 2015 mein $7.4 billion), woh poori tarah se implement nahi hui hain. Experts ka kehna hai ki India ka execution rate lagbhag 40% hai. Isse African partners ko tangible foreign direct investment ki expectations poori nahi ho paati hain. Trade ka fayda bhi sab jagah barabar nahi pahuncha hai; South Africa, Nigeria, aur Egypt jaise deshon ne India ke saath trade ka bada hissa sambhala hai.

Aage Kya?

Is summit se India ko apni commitment dikhani hogi aur implementation issues solve karne honge. Analysts kehte hain ki private sector ko zyada involve karna aur foreign direct investment badhana zaroori hai. India ko Africa's Agenda 2063 ke saath align hona hoga, pharma, IT, renewable energy aur agriculture mein cooperation badhana hoga. Asal success toh tabhi hogi jab India apne promises ko asli projects mein badal paye.
