Gujarat Mein EV Supply Chain Ka Naya Chapter

Dekho, Tata Group ki Agratas company ne Gujarat ke Sanand mein apne battery manufacturing plant ka main steel structure complete kar liya hai. Matlab, plant ab full production ke liye tayyar hai aur 2027 se kaam shuru karega. Ye Tata ke EV aur energy storage business ko India mein strong banane ka ek bada step hai. Is plant mein pehle phase mein 20 GWh battery cells banengi, jo mainly Tata Motors aur Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) ke electric vehicles ke liye hongi. Isse Tata apni EV supply chain ko aur solid banaega aur China jaise countries par dependence kam karega.

Competition Bhi Hai Zabardast!

Agar global players ki baat karein toh China ki CATL aur BYD bahut aage hain, jinka capacity 350 GWh aur 150 GWh (by 2025) tak pahunch jayega. Agratas ka 20 GWh ka output iske liye ek achhi shuruaat hai, but competition tough hai. India mein ACC PLI scheme ke through battery manufacturing ko boost mil raha hai, lekin ab tak progress thoda slow raha hai. Agratas ko fayda ye hai ki Tata Motors aur JLR jaise anchor customers hain.

Kaise Bana Ye Plant?

Sanand plant ka main structure lagbhag 105,000 square meters mein faila hua hai aur isme 24,000 tonnes se zyada steel laga hai. Is bade project ko manage kar raha hai Tata Projects Limited, jinhone pehle bhi Gujarat mein semiconductor facility banayi thi. Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE) bhi ismein help kar rahe hain. Isse "Make in India" initiative ko bhi support mil raha hai.

Challenges Bhi Kam Nahi Hain

But, sab kuch itna bhi asaan nahi hai. Global battery supply chain par China ka 80% se zyada kabza hai. Lithium aur cobalt jaise raw materials ke liye humein abhi bhi import karna padta hai, jisse prices aur availability ki tension rehti hai. India mein EV market grow toh kar raha hai, par charging infra aur price gap jaise issues hain. Ek aur bada jhatka tab laga jab JLR ne Tamil Nadu mein naya EV plant banane ka plan cancel kar diya. Aur India ki ACC PLI scheme ka progress bhi slow hai, toh bade projects execute karna challenging ho sakta hai.

Future Kya Hai?

Agratas ka Sanand plant Tata Motors aur JLR ke EV plans ke liye important hai. Tata Motors India mein EV market mein lead kar raha hai, aur 2030 tak 30% EV sales ka target rakha hai. Ye plant us target ko achieve karne mein help karega. Is plant ka success India mein EV adoption aur Agratas ki efficient production capability par depend karta hai.
