Wage Hikes vs Labour Codes: Boss ne ki clear?
Noida-Greater Noida mein jo labor protests chal rahe the, uske wajah se Haryana mein 35% aur UP mein 21% minimum wage hike hua hai. Manufacturing companies ke liye yeh cost badha sakta hai. Lekin Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles ke MD & CEO, Girish Wagh, bol rahe hain ki yeh wage hike utni badi problem nahi hai jitni India ke naye comprehensive labour codes hain. Company ko in codes ko implement karne mein kaafi preparation lag rahi hai.
Naye Labour Codes ka Game
Yeh naye labour codes November 2025 se लागू hone wale hain aur yeh labor laws mein bada change hai. Tata Motors CV pichhle 3 saal se iski tayyari kar raha hai. Q3 FY26 mein jo special charges lage the in codes ki wajah se, usne company ke consolidated profit ko ₹1,355 Crore se gira kar ₹705 Crore kar diya. Toh yeh wage hikes se zyada structural issue hai.
Financial Pressure aur Aage ka Plan
Bade wage hikes ko kam important batane ke baad bhi, company ki overall finance pe pressure toh hai. Labour codes ki wajah se jo ₹705 Crore ka profit hua hai, woh bhi 48% kam hai. Company ka ₹39.4K crore ka debt bhi hai, aur JLR aur EV technology mein bhi paisa laga rahe hain. Pichhle saal December tak ka data hai ye. Toh agar labour costs aur badh gaye toh dikat ho sakti hai.
Future Growth
Demerger ke baad, Tata Motors CV ek alag commercial vehicle business ban gaya hai, jiska aim global expansion hai. Analysts ko lagta hai ki TMCV ka stock ₹430 tak ja sakta hai FY27 estimates ke hisaab se. Iveco Group ke saath integration se company aur mazboot hogi, especially electric aur alternative fuel mein.
