NHPC Ka Mega Plan! J&K Mein ₹5,129 Crore Ka Hydro Project Tender Nikla!
Overview

State-owned NHPC ne apne **1,856 MW** wale Sawalkot hydroelectric project (J&K) ke liye **₹5,129 crore** ka ek bada tender nikala hai. Ye project India ke hydropower development mein ek crucial step hai, aur ise poora hone mein lagbhag **9 saal** lag sakte hain.

So, NHPC ne bade planning ke saath February 5, 2026 ko ye tender nikala hai, jisme domestic competitive bidding ke through online bids maange gaye hain. Is tender ka scope kafi bada hai, jisme diversion tunnels, coffer dams, access tunnels, roads aur zaruri hydro-mechanical equipment lagane ka kaam hoga. Yeh Sab J&K ke Ramban district mein Chenab river par banne wale Sawalkot project ka hissa hai.

Jo companies is tender mein participate karna chahti hain, unke paas bade dams banane, tunnels khodne aur heavy hydro-mechanical gates lagane ka accha experience hona chahiye. Financial side se dekha jaye toh, pichhle do saalon mein average annual turnover ₹604 crore aur working capital ₹95 crore se kam nahi hona chahiye. Bidding process mein pehle technical evaluation hoga, fir financial, aur uske baad electronic reverse auction hoga.

Online bid submit karne ki last date March 20, 2026 hai, aur techno-commercial bids March 24 ko open honge. Project ko poora karne ka target 108 months yaani 9 saal rakha gaya hai.

Yeh Sawalkot project India ke liye strategically bahut important hai, khaas kar Himalayan region mein hydropower ko develop karne ke liye. Aajkal jab solar aur wind power intermittent hain, toh storage-based hydropower grid ko stable karne mein bahut madad karta hai. Is project se region mein employment bhi badhegi aur infrastructure bhi develop hoga.
