Kolkata Ka Industrial Comeback Plan
Apna Asia ka purana industrial hub, Greater Kolkata Region, ekdum se comeback karne ke liye taiyar hai. Ek naya strategy banaya gaya hai jiska aim hai agle 10 saalon mein $50 Billion se zyada ka industrial output aur $25 Billion ka export target karna. Is ambitious plan mein lagbhag 3,000 existing metallurgical companies, jismein kaafi foundries bhi hain, unko upgrade karne aur Global Capability Centres (GCCs) ko expand karne par focus hai.
Purani Jagahon Ko Zinda Karna
Revival plan mein brownfield development ko priority di gayi hai. Iska matlab hai ki jo bhi 'sick units' hain ya jo legal disputes mein phanse hue hain, unko theek kiya jayega. Nayi facilities banane se ye zyada efficient hai, kyunki ye sites 6-12 mahine mein operational ho sakti hain aur inmein 25-30% kam capital investment lagega. Central government ka BHAVYA scheme bhi infrastructure upgrades mein support karega.
Port De Raha Hai Bade Fayde
Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port is economic transformation ka ek zaroori hissa hai. Iske paas lagbhag 11,000 acres land hai, jo ki India ke other major ports ke comparison mein cost-effective hai. Haldia dock system ke paas ki land badi manufacturing operations ke liye perfect hai, jabki city center ke paas GCC facilities ke liye use ho sakti hai, jahan skilled labor aur kam operating expenses ka fayda milega.
