Union Budget 2026-27 mein announce hui is scheme ko ab Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) promote kar raha hai. Iska simple matlab ye hai ki manufacturer jo goods import karte hain, unko import duty ka paisa abhi ki abhi nahi bharna padega. Payment monthly basis par settle hogi.
Ye direct unke cash flow ko boost karega, jisse manufacturing sector mein speed aayegi. CBIC officials ne bola hai ki ye scheme trust par based hai, jisse customs clearance jaldi hoga aur cargo ko wait bhi kam karna padega. Ye scheme April 1, 2026 se shuru hokar March 31, 2028 tak, matlab 2 saal tak valid rahegi. Poora process digital hoga AEO portal par, jo March 1, 2026 se hi operational hai.
Global competition mein manufacturers ko tikne mein ye madad karega, aur especially MSMEs ke liye toh ye game-changer ho sakta hai kyuki inki liquidity badhegi aur growth mein help milegi. Overall, ye government ke 'Make in India' initiative ko ekdum strong support deta hai.
Qualify karne ke liye kya chahiye? Sabse pehle, valid Import-Export Code (IEC). Pichle financial year mein kam se kam 25 EXIM documents file kiye hone chahiye (general importers ke liye) ya 10 (MSMEs ke liye). GST compliant hona zaroori hai, koi pending returns nahi. Plus, financial stability aur customs authorities ke saath record clean hona chahiye.
Ab trust based hai toh risks toh hain. Agar compliance theek se nahi hui toh fraud ya duty evasion ke chances badh sakte hain, jisse government ko revenue loss ho sakta hai. Scheme 2 saal ke liye hai, toh ye dekhna hoga ki ye long-term policy banegi ya sirf temporary help. CBIC ko har beneficiary par nazar rakhni padegi taaki duties time pe collect ho aur compliance bani rahe.
Overall, ye scheme manufacturing sector ka cash flow aur efficiency improve karegi, jisse India global supply chains mein aur bhi competitive banega. Scheme ka success government ke continuous support aur strict enforcement par depend karega, taaki ye sirf temporary relief na ban jaaye.
